You literally understand nothing about player valuation.

Just about every word of this is wrong.

The entire purpose behind the draft, isn't to protect teams as you foolishly say, but to become better and advance with respect to competition (that's why the reverse order with respect to the ranking).

In any case it takes as much of an idiot to confuse the term "cheap contract" with "rookie contract" and then even more so to equal them, as much an idiot would dare to compare Middleton with Brogdon and conclude that Brogdon is better.

Of course the same idiot would claim during the preseason that the Bucks would be worst this season than the season before and even dare to predict in his idiocy that the Bucks won't be among the championship contenders...

I understand player valuation very well actually. You track record on here proves that you don’t.

I did not say the purpose of the draft was to protect teams from themselves. Not even close to what I said. Nor did I ever say the Bucks wouldn’t be among the championship contenders.

You keep attributing that quote to me, I have told you multiple times I never said, and you have failed multiple times to produce it.

You are a liar.

lol, well i've followed the NBA since 1970...

I'd hope for the love o' God i might've pick up a thing or 2 about the game...
You may have some general and basic knowledge, sure...

... but have you slavishly dedicated yourself to the study of the greatest franchise in the NBA (THE BUCKS!!!) and the end-all-be-all metric known as PER? Obviously not.

Good day, sir.

No you don't! ...you said that Kuzma's contract is attractive because he is on a "cheap contract", while he is on a "rookie contract"!

In fact, his contract would be by far more attractive if he had signed an extension to his "correct" value (7-8M would be what the market values him - 18-25M would be my guess that some idiots value him) than the "value insecurity" his contract currently carries.

I did not say the purpose of the draft was to protect teams from themselves. Not even close to what I said. Nor did I ever say the Bucks wouldn’t be among the championship contenders.

LOL... I proposed a trade of PG for Snell... didn't I? Other than you being a liar you also dare to deny your own BS... You never said that:

- Brogdon is better than Middleton.
- Brogdon was the Bucks No2 behind Giannis,
- The Bucks will be worst than last season.
- The Bucks will never make it to the ECF this season
- The Bucks won't win more than 55 this season.
- Snell would never start for the Pistons,
- A team with only 6 players under contract can trade a rookie contract for a max contract, because it's under the (soft) cap.
- A "rookie contract" in it's last season is a "cheap contract".
- A vast number of more idiocies...

You never said anything of the above... correct? You didn't even ever tried to "teach me" on the CBA... did you? (lol... that was the "best" part)

LOL... What a hypocrite you is (not "are" for you)! Fucking liar!

Go ahead and find those quotes liar.

1) Never said Brogdon was better than Middleton. In fact, I clearly said Middleton was getting a max contract and that Brogdon would get around 20 million implying that Middleton definitely better.
2) Never said it.
3) Did say that
4) Never said that, not even close.
5) Never said that
6) Never said anything about Snell not starting. Said he was a replacement level player and a bad contract. Sometimes replacement level players start on bad teams.
7) You made a bunch of circular arguments about trash rules you invented. Not sure what I said in response.
8) Kuzma is in fact on a cheap contract today. Regardless of what he will get paid next year. And yes, You can ask anybody. I am always first to point out that an impending RFA who is not an obvious max player has their trade value limited by their next contract. And you are stupidly arguing semantics.

Fucking liar dickhead! but you know only you can already, don't you?

Therefore you now deny your own sayings! hypocrite liar!

You even "invented" that I ever proposed OKC trading PG for Snell ...dickhead!

Why you did that dickhead? It was because I predicted only a few days before it happened that "OKC will blow the team up and trade PG although they would prefer to deal Westbrook first" and you was denying it will happen!

It has heart your pride and felt humiliated that a "new comer" could see what you couldn't and you thought of inventing a fictitious trade and put it on me in order to "protect your insulted pride"... wasn't it? Stupid idiot!

at the end it was because you realized that you have no where near my knowledge on the game... fucking ignorant idiot, hypocrite, dickhead!

you ended up making threads "propose a Buck-Alice trade"... idiot!

And you said OKC would “salary dump” Paul George to get out of paying the tax, which lead to a very ridiculous trade idea involving the Bucks.

And you claim to be right now?

LOL.

Paul George asked OKC management to be traded. Since the got a kings ransom from LAC, they complied. They did not salary dump him. And of course, once they traded George, trading Russ was the next step.

so while I was wrong saying OKC wouldn’t blow it up last summer, you were far more wrong claiming George would get dumped and that Milwaukee had the assets to deal for him without giving up much of their core.

it's from last May... another doesn't have access... only you can out of your own posts!

Really?

Because I just pulled this post from you, from last May

Nick Calathes will be the PG (backed up by Vangellis Manjaris), SG will be handled by Kostas Sloukas (backed up by Yiannis Athinaiou), Costas Papanikolaou will start at SF (backed up by Thanassis Antetokounpo and Yiannis Papapetrou), Giannis will start at PF (backed up by Costas Rrintezis) and Yiannis Bourousis will start at CF (backed up by Kostas Koufos and Yiannis Papagiannis)...

One of the "deep bench" will be Tyler Dorsey with the other two players to be decided after the training camp...

How did I do that?!?

So now that I've called you out on your bullshit how about you back your dumbass claims and pull up the stuff you said @tlance said.

Should be easy enough. I did it with your posts.

If the explanation in your (and others among Lakers fans) mind is that "the Lakers have signed Kostas in order to attract Giannis interest", you are (again) fully wrong in your "thinking"(?)...

The Lakers have signed Kostas, because they know that "the Bucks want him bad"...

Their (i.e. Lebron's) target out of the Bucks roster is Bledsoe and by signing Kostas (who the Bucks want bad), they hope they can get involved in a deal (most probably 3-team) which will enable them to land Bledsoe.

This could work if the Bucks will decide to trade Bledsoe this summer... (they won't mid-season if they decide to keep him for another season):

Lakers receive: Bledsoe
Bucks receive: Bogdanovic (on a sign and trade) + Bjelica + Kostas Antetokounmpo
Kings receive: Kuzma + Green + a 2nd from the Lakers + a 2nd from Bucks (via Pacers).

The factors that may influence against the above happening are:
1. The Bucks adding Bjelica too next to Marvin Williams (who stays with the Bucks on a Vmin next season)
2. The two Serbians (who are like brothers-friends) go together... they won't split.
3. Divincenzo... Will the Bucks have any interest to pay and add Bogdanovic after having (correctly) promoted Divincenzo to be their 3rd guy next to Giannis and Middleton, making back for Brogdon's departure, for their future roster plans?

Divincenzo will be starting at SG for the postseason... Bogdanovic will want to start for the Bucks in order to agree on a "sign and trade"= problem.

What the hell are you talking about?

At what point have the Lakers shown any realistic interest in Bledsoe?!? And what the hell does he, or Kostas have to do with this conversation?

Keep side-tracking all your bullshit

and of course OKC did salary dumped as much as they needed to! Idiot!

No.

A salary dump trade is when you give a player away for the sole purpose of cutting money and getting under the cap.

That is not what OKC did when they traded Paul George. Yes, they got under the cap. But they acquired a trove of assets also.

They would never have “salary dumped” Paul George. They were only moving him if the deal helped them build for the future with young talent.

lol, like he doesn't know that already...

guess he thinks folks around here are as stupid as HE is...
I'm still figuring this guy out. Either he is playing a character, which is crazy to be doing it this long and this stridently, or he really believes this stuff which is even crazier. To think we will believe obvious lies, to be so angry and stupid, that's crazier than if he was playing a character. Like actual mental illness crazy

He's one of the people that has to be right all the time and refuses to take any criticism, advice or opinions of anyone else.

It's not quite a mental illness but more of a feeling of self entitlement:
Everything he says is correct, the NBA team he roots for has no flaws of any kind and if things don't go his way he goes in to a little meltdown tantrum.

Look up some videos on youtube. Its full of people going ape-shit crazy when things don't go their way. Bucky is the type of person that shows up late for a flight and demands the airplane turns back to pick him up or "They'll call corporate".
