In the 3 games with the Warriors, which the Warriors have lost all 3 by a total of 23 points, Andrew Wiggins is +13. His PER in those games is 25.3.

Per Anthony Slater his shot chart is:

10-20 at the rim
2-5 midrange
8-15 from 3.

Just go and look at his advanced metrics from his career and even this year with the Wolves as opposed to this brief time here. AND this is without the threats of Steph and Klay on the floor.

His ORT and DRT are amazing contrasts. In 3 games he already has almost 25% of the WS he had in 42 games with the Wolves this year.

I KNOW IT'S 3 GAMES!!!!!

But it's just further proof that I've been saying I've been impressed by him when I watch him play and now the numbers are justifying it too. He's been playing really, really well.

Outside of Chicago, these aren't good cities for AS weekend

Do you care about his birthday or what he does in his spare time?
Not gonna change my life one way or the other, but I usually ignore posts if I'm not answering a Q posed and/or all I want to say is I don't care.

Certainly wouldn't tag someone in a post, then reply to another just to say I don't care.

But you be you.

But does he impact winning?

I believe he has the CHANCE to. Given what I've seen of him in the last few games I have hope.

He does still have to improve on a lot of things. His 1 on 1 defense, I've been really happy with it. His rotations and transition defense definitely need to be improved. He also needs to try and get on the boards a bit more.

Offensively, he's being efficient and at least trying to make the right plays. He's reduced his isolation attempts and long 2's. He's trying to read and react, which takes time.

Overall, solid start, imo.

Andrew Wiggins is going to thrive in Golden State. This was a great pick up for them and grabbing that first round pick as well as well was a steal

Wiggins has been in Probably the League's worst culture in the NBA.
He's a good player has a good work ethic and he's going to have the right players around him to make him succeed.

But everyone gets their turn, even crappy cities
The Bachelor contestants had some nice things to say about Cleveland....so we've got that going for us?

No doubt due to weather much better to host the Finals here than an AS game.

I didn't want to be accused of massive homerism for saying this but yes, this. Players that have come here the last 5-6 years have generally rejuvenated their careers for the most part, or at least been their best selves. Durant a good example, he had never been more efficient or better on defense. But other guys too, DLo looked great here just not a good fit, going back farther: Barbosa, Speights, Iggy, etc. The system is real.

Did you really just use Durant as an example of a player that rejuvenated their career when they went to Golden State?

Who knows how Wiggins will ultimately fare in Golden State but he is getting an awful lot of money for a guy that needs to turn it around.

did DLo look better in GS than he did with the Nets? And Durant? Really?

He's going to look great in that 76ers uniform once we use him to trade for Embiid.
