Might have meant more with a few unnamed sources, league sources, or comments from Embiid's camp.

Nearly any player is on the market for the right offer. He pretty much said Embiid might be on the market and he might not....after saying he wont get into whether he's going on the market or not.

But if he gets moved, I think I do recall you saying a while back that it is very possible or even should be done.

Maybe a change of scenery, his past relationship with Pelinka and being with Klutch guys like Lebron and AD will help?

If nothing else, he would be a guy that could take over a game for a quarter or a half so that it didn't always have to be Lebron and/or AD.

His defense is beyond underrated. His last full season with the Heat, he had held his opponents to a ridiculous good fg%. Don't remember the number but there was an article about it.

He gets a bad rep mainly due to his cavs days. Was fine in OKC and fine in Miami for his first 3 years here

Waiters is your perfect role player. Decent at passing, can score, solid at shooting the 3 ball, and good defender. But unlike most role players, Waiters absolutely live for the biggest moments. He want the ball in his hands late
