Shay killed it tonight and won.....standup comedy is alive and well in Kalispell, Montana.
I took issue with Booker missing the AS game last night and @bksballer89 blew up on me and basically told me that I was a noob fan that casually watches basketball. So I mockingly called him woke when he incorrectly made assumptions and hypocritical statements about Booker and the Suns. Can I ask the significance of the word " woke " in this particular debate?
I hear a bunch of people use this word all willy nilly and usually it's not used correctly.
In fairness, I haven't gone back to the beginning of this conversation.
So, it's possible that I missed something.
I'm assuming you have an issue with Booker not making the team?
I couldn't watch the whole video. It really tore me up.

Ah, okay.
Looks like the coaches are placing a premium on Team success this year.
Because, Beal didn't get in either.
I didnt watch game, but Holy Fuck.
I’m shocked Lakers lost Kobe tribute game. Not good.
Its what they do every year, for the most part.

Kobe's greatness and what he achieved as a player coming out of HS paved the way for Lebron to become a superstar at that young of an age. Kobe also wasn't given the opportunity to play right away as Lebron was. That Lakers team he was drafted to was trying to compete for a championship, whereas Lebron was able to learn on the fly. Kobe was also blocked at the time by Eddie Jones who became an allstar that year.
Now not saying Kobe was necessarily NBA ready like Lebron was, but if you gave Kobe 30 minutes a night and a prime role, I think his "production" in his rookie year is much higher.
