as you know I'm not a huge fan of James myself, but he was being VERY real when it came to how he truly felt about Kobe...

The point is he needed some time to learn the NBA game which is why he wasn’t given that opportunity. He wasn’t ready for that role.

How can you say he wasn't ready for the role? He didn't have the opportunity to show whether he was or not because there was an all star caliber player who was already there.

And yes, if he were "as ready" as Lebron he would have started over Eddie Jones. But not being "as ready" as Lebron doesn't mean he wasn't ready to be a starter.

Heck, Lebron was more ready for the NBA when he came out of high school than some guys who had already been in the league for 5 years. lol

As I've said previously, Eddie Jones being on the team afforded the Lakers the luxury of letting him learn with little to no pressure, and the Lakers took advantage of it.
