Everything the heat said last night including spoelstra seems to indicate otherwise and his teammates also love him. Have to think if he was a cancer then they wouldn't have him on the roster and uniform every night. I heard nothing from his years in Miami that ever suggested he was a bad locker room guy. The only issue he ever had was with playing time which i never blamed him for.

If he were a good locker room guy, he would be in the Heat rotation.

They are probably trying to salvage some value right now so they can trade him away without having to attach an asset.

Not necessarily true. The Heat are loaded at the guard position. Waiters only problem was he didn't know how to handle his new role. Had he kept his mouth shut in preseason then i'm sure Spo would have been able to find 12-15 MPG for him especially with Winslow being out most of the season. The reason behind his first suspension was because he said something to the coaches about not playing. I'm not going to assume a guy is bad locker room guy when he's been here 4 years now and not a single word about him being a cancer....that's a ridiculous assumption to make.

Also not true lol. You do know the only reason he played last night is because Dragic and Nunn are hurt right? You really think the Heat would all of sudden play Waiters if those 2 guys were healthy? He had no choice but to play him. It was either that or go with a 8 man rotation that included no guards coming off the bench.

The reason Waiters hasn’t played all season has nothing to do with his talent. Put it like that.

And good locker room guys don’t complain to the point of being suspended because they don’t like their role. And yeah, that stuff can absolutely divide a locker room and cause distraction for a team.

I’ve seen, nor heard no evidence of it.
I think its been more of a case of ‘if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it’.
Last night we were down 2-3 guards if you in include Winslow.
He was needed, and showed that he was ready when needed.
