Was Zion Williamson's NBA Debut Last Night Impressive?

Yesterday, Zion Williamson made his NBA Debut and after a 3 minute stretch scored 17 points total. However, the New Orleans Pelicans lost to the San Antonio Spurs by a final score of 121-117. I would say his performance was kind of in the middle of impressive and unimpressive. He did better in NCAA College Basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. I mean, the Pelicans lost to the Spurs. At least it was better than his shoes falling apart and sleeping on the bench. Am I right?

I was impressed with his shooting I did not think of him as someone who could drain a 3 and he would have more Assists if his teammates would have made their shots. If he fills the stat sheet and the Pelicans finish the rest of the season with more wins then losses (not total but since zion returned) I wouldn't put him out the rookie of the year mention.

His offense obviously looked great but from what I could see his defense needs a lot of work. Just his first game though.

He was on a minutes restriction and pulled in crunch time. The outcome of the game is not as important as his return to the court, effective play for the most part, and he didn't get hurt. The team will need to adjust to his presence as well, as it changes rotations, defensive assignments, etc.

You are an idiot if you don't think he's a star in the making. He's just 19, and Giannis is 25 years oId, an MVP caliber of the NBA, six year veteran, and the Bucks are the best team right now, AND this is just his 7th game after knee surgery! Are you just that stupid? He's averaging 19.6 PPG, 8 REB, 2 Assists as a Rookie thru just 7 games! Giannis in his rookie season averaged 6.8 PPG, 4.4 Rebs, and 1.9 Assists- by comparison;
