There is a lot of reason to be optimistic moving forward.

We are 17-5-4 against the eastern conference and 70% of our remaining games are against the east.

The home record is 14-3-4 and 54% of our remaining games are on home ice.

Combine the two and we're 10-1-3 against the eastern conference on home ice.

Yep, Tampa was the very first to beat us in regulation and I would argue that luck had a lot to do with it.

Ironically, 3 of the 4 teams ahead of us in the Metro have dominated the west and often struggled against the east. This tells me that they are coming back down to earth soon.

I think after watching the lack of offence in the Tampa game, AV decided he needed another center. From an article I read:

• The Flyers recalled forward Connor Bunnaman from AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley on Sunday and loaned winger David Kase to the Phantoms.

The move has a lot to do with the Flyers' play down the middle. The team wants to play Scott Laughton on the wing, where he's been more effective in greater minutes.
Thanks chy i hope it works starting tonight!

This team has way to many momentary lapses of reason. They look like an AHL team too many times.

Lol Well, that was one of the wildest finishes you will ever see. Back and forth offense through two periods and then the third was played like a playoff game, but we managed to tie it on a great individual effort by Sanheim after being down by three early.

Let it be known that Hart held us in this game to allow the comeback after we hung him out to dry a bit early on. He was also great in the shootout, which has been an area where he's needed to improve.

The Bruins had a lot of possession in the overtime, but really didn't do much with it. We had our chances, including Provorov in the dying seconds. Halak made several ridiculous saves late and we hit the post three times in the shootout before Konecny finally put one in as the fifth shooter. Maybe now he'll get more chances in the top three.

So, Brad Marchand (arguably the biggest dick in the Nhl currently) steps up to the plate to tie it and he tips the top of the puck at center ice, pushing it several inches, but losing control as he skates past it completely to essentially void his attempt...LOL If that's not divine intervention, then I don't know what is!!

Game over, 6-5 Flyers. The Bruins are now 0-7 in the shootout this season with a whopping 12 losses beyond regulation. We've been there before too, so I have zero sympathy for them.

Either way, it's a giant two points on a night when the Canes and Isles both lost in regulation.

Amazing what can happen when you establish a front net presence, we don't do that enough, why I don't know ?

Another reason that particular finish is justified is that Marchand was the 6th Bruin skater on the ice during a scrum in front of the benches earlier and did not get a penalty for it. That's normally an automatic penalty. Either way, we can all agree that the guy is a massive douche and there's no better way for us to win than for him to make a horrible gaffe while the entire crowd is booing him during a high pressure moment.

2-1-0 against 3 of the best teams in the league this week. Not bad, especially when you consider the one loss was a close game lost on a pretty unlucky play.

Let's see if they can keep the momentum going against another 'best team in the league' tomorrow.

That was UNREAL!!!!!! Sloppy first 1/3 of the game then we started using their same scheme defense against them. That is what i mean about showing toughness. You dont have to drop the gloves you do have to mix it up and show you wont roll over. We fought and battled back. Ah it will be a good day today! :D

Great picture!

It does beg the question on how do they have two pucks for the same goal?????
Does Bunnaman get the actual puck?
Does Friedman get a new one or a game used puck?
How do these things work?

Would have been fun to take a pic of them holding one puck with 1st assist on Friedman's side and 1st goal on Bunnaman's side. Lost opportunity if you ask me...
