I guess @flyerhawk needs to update our outlook for the future

I agree, Porter jr was looking good before he got hurt. I haven't watched the Cavs all season, but they have been weird. Sometimes they look great, and then they go on long stretches looking like complete crap. I think it's because they are so young.
Very young. As mentioned in a previous post, what I was most impressed with last night was the ball really seemed to move much more than usual. Maybe the kids are realizing that works.

If you've watched 70% of Cavs games what exactly did you mean when you said this (comment # 10774)- I haven't watched the Cavs all season?
I did think he meant what some have implied, but his explanation makes sense, too.....could mean he has not seen every game. Does not mean he has not seen

A half game separates 2nd and 5th in the West. Hard to see the Clippers finishing higher than 4th

And in spite of last night all indications are the Thunder are coning.

I know I'm a Seahawks fan and therefore have a certain amount of bias...but Russell Wilson is ridiculous.

And yeah, Mahomes/Wilson would be very entertaining.

Unfortunately, I think we're probably getting Mahomes/Garropolo.

In the NFL you never know, and of all teams, the Seahawks seem to never have ‘ normal’ games.

Exum does as well...If he can stay healthy, he's shooting 63%

We have a lot of young talent with more coming, @flyerhawk was just being a hater imho

I am completely indifferent to Cavaliers. They have been an irrelevant franchise for their entire career outside of about 10 years of having Lebron James.

My dim view of the Cavs is that they don't have any apparent franchise player right now. They may wind up hitting the jackpot, again, and get another No. 1 overall pick. But that is unlikely.

As it stands there is very little reason that the Cavs could vie for a title in the next 5-7 years. Of course the same is more or less true for most teams.

No you aren't lol

Cavs have made the playoffs almost a 50% rate

Did you judge the Cavs last draft picks accurately? We have no clue how good Sexton or Garland or Porter or Exum will turn out...They could easily end up franchise players

Your Celts are on the same path the Cavs were from 87-97...

Were the bulls relevant outside of Jordan?

The Heat outside of Wade?

You could say that about tons of teams lol

The Cavs as of now have a lot of young talent who will likely get a lot better, cuppled with a lot of draft picks coming up. Their future and past has been a lot better than your Celtics for the last decade...And that is along time

Just based on other teams that took this rout, it has worked out pretty well...And we have only not had Lebron for a year...The rebuild just started...How could you possibly project out 5-7 years lol

I'm not a Celts fan. Pretty far from it.

The road to mediocrity in the NBA is littered young teams loaded with young unproven talent.

Yeah, but you never know until the players actually develop, but you are already passing judgement. Unproven can quickly become proven. That was my point. They have a ton of picks and a lot of young talent, you only need to hit on 1-2 to start being pretty good. We are talking about 19-20 year olds...GS won 26 games with a 21 year old Curry and you could have said the same thing about their future...

Pretty sure they have the same amount of titles as Philly since I've been a fan. And a 40-year-old remembers the Cavs title.

Correct....a teanager remembers the Cs winning a title. Probably need to be 45 to remember a title for the team you cheer for.

Didn't Philly take the same exact rout the cavs did to try and get better and its still not working? lol

I wasn't even born when the Sixers won their last championship for 3 years...That was before the internet

So you both have one a piece "since you've been a fan"

And what team has a better chance of winning another one?

Good for you.

You are free to consider the 76ers irrelevant. Makes no difference to me.

Every team has a bad game now and then.

Shake that shit off and keep moving.

As for the Clippers...

I will state this again...

If the Playoffs started today, the only team I'd confidently pick the Clippers to beat in a series is the Lakers.

It's a 50/50 ball with anyone else.

Outside of the Clippers and Bucks, I'd take the Lakers over every playoff team, in either conference.

Out East, sans Embiid...

I have the pecking order:

Bucks, Celtics, Heat, 6ers, Raptors.

A healthy Siakam, I'm switching them with Philly.

Matchups are everything this year.

So, I expect most playoff teams to make a deadline move.

Yeah. And if you asked me in 2013 what their prospects were I would have said they were pretty dismal.

The answer is obviously Philly. But just by the smallest of margins. What they need to do is trade Embiid to the Celtics. He's fucking up their team chemisty.

You won't need him. AD is coming to the Celtics on a team friendly deal. That way you can trade Tacko (and a second rounder) for Nikola Jokic

They are playing a ridiculous, dangerous game.

The LeBron-Cavs could sandbag the regular Season.

They had the best player on the planet and a fearless Kyrie, who clearly possessed the clutch gene.

Plus, they played in the East.

The Clippers don't have that luxury.

Yeah, we have Kawhi and Lou. But, if the game was on the line...

I'm sorry.

I don't trust Playoff P.

Let them spot any playoff team 15 to 20 points in the first quarter of games, like they have done repeatedly this Season, and they are Gonna be a 1st round knockout.

Sure, they can tighten up the defense to limit teams in the 4th.

But, how does that help if PG's spinchter muscle tightens up and you have to score?

This shit is ridiculous.
