Facepalm is maybe a little harsh of me but you've got the wrong thread my friend. Something something "Monsieur Eaton!"

Freddy has been let down on a lot of the goals the past two games but he’s usually reliable enough to make the big save. Haven’t seen any of those in these games.

Serious question; is he injured? Granted I don't watch him enough to know everything about his usual stance, but when he is set and transitions to his knees, it looks like he has some kind of core/abdominal issue. He is just not getting that power from his midsection.

Wouldn’t be a shock but I feel like that would’ve come out after the media frenzy surrounding his getting pulled on Monday.

Then again we found out today that Rielly’s been playing through an injury since October because they’re paper thin on D. Needless to say they’re much thinner in net so he may be doing the same.

Brian Burke tried comparing the Jets getting through the neutral zone with ease to the 401.

Friedman: “You’ve clearly never driven on the 401.”

Thanks Auston!

That's another big difference between Matthews and McDavid. Connor scores pretty goals but Matthews scores important goals. I'll take important over pretty every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

To be fair Auston was trying to be fancy in that OT, as was Mitch. I guess that’s the time to do it but, man, just put a puck on net. One shot in 5 minutes of 3-on-3 isn’t good.

As prolific a scorer as Matthews is, he has not had a hat trick since his first game of his NHL career. Lots of 2 goal games, but no hatty

Which is why MrsBG said in all seriousness "do NOT put Matthews out during OT".

/only half kidding tbh
