Toronto won 8-6. is scoring up overall this season? seeing games that have 9 goals scored combined often
Yeah it seems to be up which is good for attracting fans.

Interesting enough John Carlson is on pace to get 100 pts. First time for a D-man since Leetch in 91-92.

To my eye, it looks like Galchenyuk is finding his game a bit. He still needs to shoot more, but he's been good on controlled exits from the defensive zone, and he's getting to good areas on the offensive side. When Crosby is healthy and takes Guentzel back from Malkin (let Geno keep Rust), if Galchenyuk can get the shot going, he'll fit nicely on the left wing. Of course, that might be McCann's job to take at that point, but I like him centering his own line.

Also, ZAR is just a solid player. He's great in his own end. And it's good to see Riikola showing a little offensive flair. I'd like to see him take the third pairing LD spot from Johnson when the D corps gets healthy.

Just no confidence at all in Murray right now.

Might not have any confidence in Murray, but damn has he gotten zero help from the guys in front of him the last 2 periods.

Wow, what a turn of events.

I’m not sure it ever crossed completely, but the call being a good goal on the ice, I don’t see what could have overturned it either.

so can the Pens trade Patrick Hornquist? I like to see him moved in a 2 -1 trade.

Almost 50 shots against wasn't good. With that said Murray was out of position all night.

Side note listening to the Preds post-game, geez folks say the Errey and Steigerwald are big homers those two are insufferable. They went on about the Watson goalie interference, well guess what that will get called every time. With that, they didn't seem to care too much when Pettersson was pulled down after the icing was waved off and the Preds almost scored. Or when Tanev was trying to break way on and got pulled down.

Finally about the Guentzel goal they kept going on that they would like to see that replay again because they didn't believe it was a goal.

Oh, no doubt on Murray. It's why I said just no confidence when he's in net. I can't remember if it was the 2nd or 3rd Preds goal, but the way he was flopping like a fish (off to the side of the net no less), it wasn't a question of if the Preds would score, but when. But still, the D was as bad last night as I can remember seeing in quite a while....and not just Johnson and Letang either.

meh, I expect local guys to be homerish. Steiggy is just a giant douche of a human though, period. I actually don't think Errey is that bad really. At least he's not on the Jack Edwards level or the guy that does Tampa (I can't remember if he was the TV or radio guy), but those 2 are just compete embarrassments to the profession.

Pens have played 2 periods all year with a completely healthy squad

Does this mean that the slug called Galchenyuk is moved to the Malkin-Rust line?

Uggg….
