Thinking more about this, and with Theiss and not Horford, not sure Love is the best fit for the Cs. I actually think TT might be a better option for them (though not signed past this season).

He would be a very nice fit in Boston, considering they need bigs as well. I don't see this happening though bc Hayward though have to be the guy in this deal and he is playing well this season.

He would actually fit better in Miami though.

I think Love would listen, he knows how to play with Lebron and has already won a ring with him. I doubt he'd have a problem with potentially winning another.

With Lebron, there's always potential for drama. But so far, it's been a drama free season. In fact, some folks are saying that part of the reason the NBA is kind of boring right now is because there's no Lakers/Lebron drama. lol
No doubt it's possible he'd jump at the opportunity if he had it. And, sure, entirely different people. But he also had his issues with very good friends like Frye and RJ around him here.

Things for sure can be fine with Lebron for stretches. I got the sense he wasn't a fan of his do as I say not as I do attitude (though maybe he is not that guy anymore as I have not watched him much last 2 seasons). Also think like many he was not a Kyrie fan, and that obviously would not be an issue.

@Mecca breakout game for Porter Jr. A couple things I like about him is he really gets off on playing defense and being pesky, also I like when he is aggressive going to the hoop (he doesn't do it consistently though). I think your comparison to Harden-like makes sense at this point, obviously in time, but he will need to improve his shooting and his aggressiveness to even be half of what Harden is...but like I said I like the fact he enjoys taking on a challenge defensively.

Love an All-Star that won a ship as a 3rd option

Whiteside productive but not consistent guy that doesn't help you win and plays bench players minutes.

It is FAR more than just an extension of his contract LOL

I'm just talking cap dollars (and luxury tax dollars). If Portland isn't truly a contender, I doubt they want to sign up for more consecutive (and progressively worse) luxury tax bills.

Seems like a no-brainer for the Suns. Cavs? Not so sure. Thinking if they are getting what look like maybe 2 JAGs (though young) they'd want a pick or picks as well.

But who know?

Picks would have to be involved because the only thing of value there is Bridges and you're really just taking a flyer on his potential there because he's still young enough in his career to where you're not quite sure what he could be. I think at least one 1st rounder would be involved. With Phoenix sniffing the playoffs for the first time in years, they may be desperate enough to where you could milk another future 1st (distant) or a couple of 2nds in the deal as well. You're not gonna get a treasure trove of picks for Love from any team given his age, injury history and contract, but I expect any deal for him to at least include 1 pick coming back to Cleveland

Is Jr Smith still unemployed or is he somewhere overseas?

What's more surprising?

Draymond Green averaging more assists per game than Cleveland's starting backcourt combined

or

Cleveland's backcourt averaging less than 2 assists per game more than Andrew Wiggins this year?

Heat should really look into trading Winslow by the trade deadline

Haven't seen the heat much this year. What's the gripe about Winslow?

Also what's going on with James Johnson? Injured or washed?

He barely plays. Dude is simply soft. Waste of money if you can't play when you're a little banged up. Im almost certain he played 10 games or fewer and none of his "injuries" been close to serious.

As for JJ, Spo hates him and Waiters so refusing to give them a chance to play but unlike Waiters, his attitude is better so Miami don't use the BS excuse of illness to keep him away from the team.

Something should really be done about this. Sick of seeing teams waste 1 year of a guy career and possibly ending it. Cavs did the same garbage with Jr last year and now he's out of the league

Yeah, Winslow is talented but damn if he can't stay on the court what good is he. I'd take James Johnson in a heart beat. Always liked his game a lot.

See, I disagree again.

Not sure about JJ, but in the case of JR and Waiters, they have ruined their own careers.

It is not that hard to be a good locker room guy.

Just like Colin Kaepernick in the NFL, once a player’s skill set declines to the point that his own court contributions don’t outweigh the off court headache, he is done.

A marginal player can extend his career by 4-5 years by simply not being a dick.

I disagree.

It is a fair offer. Maybe add a 2nd, but really don’t the scabs are getting more than that.

Hell, I even read teams are asking the Cavs to attach a pick to Love to move him. I don’t think his contract is that bad, but it certainly isn’t good.

Like I said last summer, the extension hurt Love’s trade value. That will be proven factual here soon.

Love would have garnered multiple firsts as an expiring 2 last year.
