Bottom line the game has passed Maranelli by and his opinion on talent is suspect at best Taco over Watts and Hill over Thornton are both terrible decisions Rod and this staff made.
You can’t miss on talent in rounds 1-3 and that is 2 monster whiffs.
Dallas has needed a couple big OT for the DL for several years and all we get are excuses of they don’t fit the scheme and the Defense gets gashed inside year after year well ducking maybe the scheme is wrong.
And don’t get me started with our 30 million dollar DE that has turned into a fart in the wind this year. Quinn has been more productive at 1/10th of the cost.
Clean house and lets see if Jerry can get get lucky with this next hire.

Every team whiffs on draft day. My problem (from what you read only of course) is this team allowed a part time DC whose days are numbered and we don't know if was ever really a good player evaluator that probably watched nowhere near the amount of tape as the scouts to make the call over those scouts. Hill wasn't always a starter or FT player late in College and was inconsistent and Taco was similar at times IIRC. Both experienced scheme changes, but early picks, especially on the DL, should dominate in College.

I heard something pretty funny yesterday on Dallas sports talk. Fans were asked to call in and tell the station what they are mad about. A guy calls and wanted to say he sick and tired of seeing Garrett hold up on finger after a Dallas TD...said hell, even his 7 year old grandson knew the team would kick an extra point.

Are u serious? He was freaking awesome the 4rth quarter. He was throwing to converted QBs and 5th string WRs. Not to mention he was running for his life most plays. I’ve never heard of the RB that was kicking ass. That’s what I’m talking about though - Wentz team sucks - he rose up and kicked ass. I don’t care who it was against.

Eagle fans and local radio in Philly are all saying Carson played horrible. One series out of a whole game does not make a great game by a QB. Did you see that stupid throw near the end of the game that should have been intercepted?
