Oh come on...Maryland and Wake are a lot better than scheduling FCS schools. Even if Notre Dame schedules are few bad AQ schools those games are the weakest on their schedule compared to the opening weeks of college football or the SEC before a big game.

There should be no AQ conferences.

The top 6-8 teams should get slots and then the rest can be chosen from the at large pool of the top 16 or 20.

Agreed, with the BCS bowl system....but 10 doesn't work so well in a playoff format which is what ultimately needs to happen. 8 or 16.

I voted for ND, as long as they follow the same regulation as they do now.

2012 - ND scheduled 11 AQ conference teams currently.
2011 - ND scheduled 9 AQ conference teams
2010 - ND scheduled 7 AQ conference teams
2009 - ND scheduled 10 AQ conference teams
2008 - ND scheduled 10 AQ conference teams

If Notre Dame goes 10-2, then why not give them a BCS Bid? They have a tougher schedule every year than most AQ conference teams.

Using AQ teams to verify why someone should get AQ in my opinion is not the best way to justify something.
