All the ones that have it now - the BE and thats it. MWC is good at top but terrible at the bottom.

Outside of the ones that already do, I'd say none.

I voted for the current ones minus the Big Least.

Honestly there's no reason for AQ. Take the top 10 teams.

I voted for ND, as long as they follow the same regulation as they do now.

2012 - ND scheduled 11 AQ conference teams currently.
2011 - ND scheduled 9 AQ conference teams
2010 - ND scheduled 7 AQ conference teams
2009 - ND scheduled 10 AQ conference teams
2008 - ND scheduled 10 AQ conference teams

If Notre Dame goes 10-2, then why not give them a BCS Bid? They have a tougher schedule every year than most AQ conference teams.

no one

it shouldn't be automatic

it should just be any conference champion ranked in the top 14.

but when they schedule bottom AQ teams like Maryland, and Wake Forest those really don't even count, they're worse than most non-AQs

2012 - @ Michigan St, vs Michigan, vs Miami(FL), vs Stanford, @ Oklahoma, vs Pittsburgh, @ USC

2013 - @ Michigan, vs Michigan St, vs Oklahoma, vs Arizona St, vs USC, @ Pittsburgh, @ Stanford

I don't find those schools low quality opponents to have on the schedule. How many non-AQ teams would have a similar schedule? You telling me if they beat 5 of those teams and all the weaker opponents that they don't deserve a BCS bid next 2 seasons?

I think he meant Wake and Maryland were worse than a lot of non AQs.

as soon as ND joins a conference (or they do away with AQ for any confrence) they can get AQ status. Until then it's bullshit.

some of those teams kind of suck right now but that's not their fault, like Pitt, Pitt really sucks, but they schedule them when Pitt was decent but they made up for it when they scheduled Stanford back when Stanford was worse than most non-AQs.

Big East should lose theirs, leaving 5 AQ conferences - SEC, Big Ten, B12, Pac-12 and ACC.

Then make a 6 team playoff (champions of those 5 conferences plus 1 at-large). Top two ranked teams get a first week bye, so the rounds are 4-4-2. The at-large can come from one of those 5 conferences or somewhere else.
