The idea Baker was/is a bust was always really dumb I think if you've been watching Browns games this year. Was hyping him up as a borderline transcendent talent over the top? Yeah, but he's damn talented, and his rookie year shows that.

The two bungles games will probably massage his stats some.
Yep...like they did for LJ, as well as his Miami and AZ games.

Isn't to say he is not MVP caliber this season....and he also played very well vs. NE.

The Bills have got to be the least inspiring 8-3 team I've ever seen.

They are stale offensively, and they haven't been lights out defensively like they were last year.

I don't want to jump the shark, but Pitt and the Bungles should be extremely winnable even without Garrett for Cleveland.

@Cardinals and the Ravens at home will be the tricky games. Still think 9-7 gets them into the playoffs in this AFC.
No doubt a shot at 9-7, but I think Tennessee might also finish there and they have a head-to-head tiebreaker against us (no clue if more teams involved). Buffalo could certainly go 1-4, but I think they go 2-3 and get 10 wins. comes down to tiebreakers, then, with Oakland and/or Indy most likely.

yeah but Pitt is a must win imo. They have to win that...bc they still have the Cardinals and Ravens. They should sweep the Bungals.

i agree. i think the winner of clev vs pitt sunday should be in the drivers seat for the last WC spot

So, we got the list of teams with better than dumb and dumber chances at the playoffs, who are not leading their divisions

Bills
Titans
Browns
Raiders
Steelers
Colts

Somewhere in the ether

Jets

Only change I might make is Colts ahead of steelers (if you had it in order of their chances)

I almost wonder with the way Tannehill is playing for them if they don't actually win the South, rendering any tiebreaker with Cleveland almost certainly moot.

Texans are in a lot more danger of a collapse than people realize. That secondary is truly backbreaking right now for them.

Titans schedule @ Colts, @ Raiders, Saints, and Texans twice so they definitely control their own destiny. Tannehill is 4-2 as a starter I believe this year.

mayfield and the browns look good against poor competition and bad against good competition. they are the epitomy of an average team right around the 8-win mark.

i give them a chance of grabbing the last wild card if they can get a win in pittsburgh this weekend.

He had a good game against Baltimore and minus the inexplicable shovel pass at least pretty good versus NE but yes he needs to step up in the big games to have "arrived" for sure.

Yep because of their jackassery earlier in the season they can only lose one more game

So we cannot credit him when he plays well against bad teams but playing very good to elite defenses (which he has nearly every game) cannot be used as a mitigating factor for his struggles?
Let me hate Mayfraud in peace. Maybe when he matures and becomes less douchey I’ll start hating him less.

Cannot blame ya there, my friend, as I cannot say I like him and I'm a Browns' fan.

ODB was a monster in NY, not so much having to share with Landry, who is balling

yeah Jets would have to win out to even have a chance imo. Tough task.

Bengals - easy win
Dolphins - easy win
Then Steelers, Ravens and Bills.

Yep for Odell standards he has been under productive for sure., Mayfield and him have struggled to stay on the same page. I think one year, an offseason and training camp/preseason could go a looong way. I expect him to be much better next season.

Baker is so head strong and doesn't care who wants the ball, will throw to whoever is open. I think Eli catered to ODB, so he wouldn't keep pouting or fighting the net

I didn't like him in college and despised him for the stabbing the beloved stadium with a flag....and now I have a jersey of him. Kinda premature to buy a jersey, but I did it anyway. Great jersey and only $25...pretty durable. Couldn't pass up the opportunity lol
