This is another example of jumping to conclusions without knowing, my friend.

You don't know this was his "main point". could have been main point was still about previous suspension for similar act...or lesser suspensions for worse acts against women. we don't know.

I do agree the slur even if said should not get his suspension reduced...maybe he just didn't want to see Mason skate if it was actually said.

The fact that this is the only news that came out...it's pretty self-explanatory. Don't overthink it. The was the main point in the appeal and his targeting point.

No it isn't AT ALL jumping to conclusions. It was stupid decision to appeal bc of that reason. The fact he never mentioned this beforehand makes it an even worse appeal.

You really think a person is going to admit it even if it did happen? LOL no chance in hell. Stupid appeal, stupid lawyer.

So I'm ignoring something the Browns players apparently never heard?

Browns, Steelers players did not hear Mason Rudolph use racial slur
how were they gonna hear it if it was said here....

I have no idea what your rambling means because you don’t understand what leaving someone out to dry means. And no if a Steeler was to say something about at best you could say he threw him under the bus or didn’t have his back. Garrett is a terrible teammate with this excuse.
In fact, I do and gave you an example.

Mason't teammate confirming it was said or saying they believe it was said would be leaving him out to dry (worse if he didn't say it).

Myles' teammates having to answer controversial Qs, which happens often, are not left out to dry.

Hope YOU now understand.

We should all concede that he did call him a racial slur so we can get something straight.

That doesn't justify smashing him over the head with a helmet. Being called a racial slur does not give you the right to assault people, that should be made abundantly clear.

No RB on the Ravens was very good that year. He was 26 at the time and a 3-time pro bowler. He had 7500 yards from scrimmage and 39 touchdowns in the 4 years prior to that. That type of player would definitely generate interest in free agency even with the down year.
But production had just dropped tremendously down to 660 yards in 15 games and 3.1 ypc. If this happened a year or 2 earlier I'm confident he'd get signed.

Kareem Hunt was signed. Hardy got a job.

Nobody in their right mind gives a fuck what was said or not said, as any rational human would know it is irrelevant. That spoken words do not justify swinging a fucking helmet at someone's head.

Jesus H., some of you are retarded af.

Oops, I called some of you a bad word. I'll be right back, I'm gonna go brain myself with a hatchet.

I don't think anyone has said it was ok for Garrett to do what he did, even if Rudolph did provoke it.
I think quite a few still feel Rudolph should have been punished as well, the only thing I don't agree with.

He should have done the interview with Jay Glazer, the Browns didn't want him to do it but why? That would have made things a little more clear on what happened...either way who cares. What done is done.

Kitchens get your fat ass away from this now undisclipined team.

This is all that WAS news as his other points were already mentioned (and not newsworthy). You are overthinking things, my friend.

Of course no one said that...or if they did it was a small minority.

But the irrational are not adverse to just make things up as they go along if they think it fits their narrative.

Why should we concede he called him a racial slur?
Let's say he did. Don't you think he'd address that to the two Pittsburgh linemen escorting him away from Rudolph?

IMO IF Rudolph said a slur Myles would have yelled this out as he was pulling on Rudolph's helmet. He would have said it as he was being moved away bu the linemen, he'd have said it as he full swung the helmet into Rudolph's head.

Is it possible a slur was said? Yes. That said, odds are 99.9% no slur was used

Pick the word you want.

either way with the part of the helmet that hit Mason, it did not injure nore leave a mark. Had it been the crown? different story...but it wasn't.

sooo someone shoots at someone, misses, grazes their arm, flesh wound, thats cool? someone stabs someone, doesnt hit a major blood flow area, flesh wound, thats cool too. Great logic , kudos. Speaks to most of your line of thought.

twitter is made for fans like you and those you mention who are irrational and have an agenda.
i have no irrational agenda? im very matter of fact, you sir are the one making fifty excuses, and changing the argument, and moving goalposts, you would get along well there. I disagree with 99% of all of twitter, again, good try. You are not succeeding here.

Agreed.....though also possible if done while on the ground with Rudolph no one else heard it. I mean, they were face to face so no need for Mason to yell. And players were not that close.

This doesn't mean I know it happened. I do think more likely than when I originally heard about it but still lean to not happening.

We don't know what really was said or not said, but in the context of what happened (essentially a fight) it's hard to believe no one else heard it. I believe it would've been loud enough for others to hear.

If this really happened, imo it would've been front and center from the outset...not bringing it up during the appeal process.

Garrett was going down the right path initially...saying he lost it. etc, apologize...from there you lay low and wait for it pass.

Punished for what exactly? Scuffles happen in every game.

And by some people, I assume you mean dt?
