2nd over 20 point comeback too
Funny. Many of the same ones are now calling for dumping Haskins after 2 starts. I’d suggest they stick to fantasy football and let the adults evaluate real talent going forward. Not hearing much from them
And without Thielen for a portion of this
Just think if Allen would have not had his head in his ass and signed KC after the 2016 season. Word was that he would have signed back then for $20M/year for 5 years. He would now be in year 3 and dirt cheap. Oh yeah.....we could have still drafted haskins and he would have had a proper couple of years to be developed. Oh yeah....we would not have had to trade for Smith, thus we would have had Fuller....think we could have used him? Oh yeah, we would have also had a 3rd round pick that we gave up in the smith trade......this player could have been an OL, TE, CB now into his second year and probably contributing significantly in a spot we we need talent.
See how one bad decision can affect the entire season a few years later. But then again, Cousins is still considered by some as just a "pretty good QB". Well, that pretty good QB is heads and tails better anything we have had since or, realistically, anything we will have in the next few years.

Take it a step further. KC didn’t have a great shot until his fourth year in the league. Imagine if we hadn’t wasted all those extra picks on RG3 and KC would have had a first and second round pick in their fourth season, a first and second round pick in their third season, and another first round pick in their second season.
He has missed 3 1/2 games. I didn't count the KC game because he played one series and had to come out, came back to soon.

He's elite. There's no question about it. How often is an elite, proven QB available in free agency? The previous time was Manning to Denver. I would've loved for the Niners to get Cousins, but I'm pretty happy with Garoppolo.
