Pouncey shouldn't miss one second of football, going forward.

Garrett should be suspended the rest the year and next year.

I know he was reacting, but I don't think the league will disregard his kicking of Garrett.

What? Garrett I think will get suspended for the rest of the year. So will Pouncey. You can't start kicking a player on the ground in retribution. I don't care if he thought he was protecting his QB.
Fuck, he never even connected, he hit the other dudes leg, barely.

You can't rip a helmet off a QB and fucking brain him with it, and not expect his o-linemen to fucking lose it.

Pouncey never even touched him as far as I could tell.

Would be surprised if Garrett plays again this year. Honestly I would almost be surprised if he isn't criminally charged with assault on that one.

NFL has to suspend and fine Pouncey, but I'm not sure anyone will want to, thats exactly what he's supposed to do. Maybe less punches to a helmet, idiot probably broke his hand. I would expect the league to go light on him given the situation. Comparatively lightly at least.

If Garrett isn't suspended for the rest of the season (6 games) something is wrong. He should probably get additional games into next season as well. Jesus.

This is almost in Ron Artest territory. Using a helmet as a weapon

Self defense. The QB tried to rip off his helmet and twisted his head. Miles was just standing his ground, and the guy tried that on the wrong guy.

Needlessly to say he got owned, and that was awesome...

I hope so. Not sure if he'd be interested in the job if offered though.

There's talent on both sides of the ball. This would be a good destination for any coach to take over and have a chance to really coach up Mayfield.

It's weird they didn't even call roughing the passer on that play then. Way too much confusion I guess.

Thats what I think. Honestly the penalties didn't matter the game was over anyway.

Think about how much of a pussy sport football has turned into. You can't even touch the QB without a flag. Miles said F that and smashed the helmet over his Pitt's head....This is the stuff we need to bring back imho

Wasn't Garret roughing the passer on that play to start with?

No, in fact, the way Garret twisted Rudolph was to avoid roughing (Garrett landing on top of him), and the swing/spin was not violent either (or any more violent than would have been unavoidable)

Oh yeah Pouncey will miss a few.

I bet all the folks suspended, guaranteed will not be around for the game in two weeks.

It doesn't really matter whether Pouncey made contact or not. Garrett barely hit Rudolph with the helmet.

The league will have no choice to give them both heavy suspensions. This was a nationally televised game in which one player tried to hit another with a helmet and another player tried to kick a player was defenseless on the ground.

While I didn't see exactly what infuriated Garrett but I wouldn't be shocked to see Rudolph suspended if they find something he did that instigated it all.

The league MUST make it clear that this sort of behavior is completely unacceptable.
