So Manziel or Josh Rosen (who have loaded parents) can be totally over the top with their cash because their parents have it

But if a guy who comes from a humble background borrows some dough.....well fuck that guy.

Everybody else is allowed to borrow money. My folks helped me out.

Two, just because he said it is a “friend of the family” doesn’t mean much. I’m sure the agent that paid Reggie Bush to buy a house was a “friend of the family” as well.

Yes, I do realize I'm taking Young's word for it, so there needs to be an investigation. Point taken.

Friend of family since he was a little kid? Or a "friend" of the family with ties to tOHSU that became friends with the family his senior year of HS when deciding on which school to go to?

It's being reported as a close friend, doesn't have legs as something shady. It's also been publicly stated by Mr. Young's attorney the money was paid back. I doubt he leads with that if there wasn't some element of truth to it, because bottom line it's getting investigated and they'll get to the bottom of it. I don't think coming out and lying is in his client's best interest. Plus his attorney is Tim Nevius who was a former NCAA investigator as well.

I honestly feel a little better about the situation now, if what's said is true I think this is a 2 game suspension max. Rumor mill was crazy this morning. Had text's my neighbor's cousin said Young, Dobbins, Fields, and Okudah all accepted money from an agent. I shouldn't have even listened to it but I felt my world collapsing around me lol.

Some people act like he is Fields and we would collapse without him. Even without Young we'd still have a good shot at the national title........He is the best defensive player in the country, but our defense is still solid enough without him.

I have been openly cynical about everything and not just anti-Ohio State. I railed against Michigan State players and the university itself anytime an allegation has been made against them.
