10/22: CBS has given full-season pickups to four freshman shows: All Rise, Bob ♥ Abishola, Carol's Second Act, and The Unicorn.

10/22: Evil (CBS) renewed for a 2nd season (though the 1st season will not be extended beyond its original 13-episode order).

Ugh!. None of them are very good. Only Bob is decent. The rest flat out suck.

Haven’t watched any of the first group, but Evil is interesting enough. Nothing amazing yet, but nit bad enough to give up on, at least.

My problem with EVIL, is the actual premise... it is interesting, but they need to pick a line... Is this a fictional world with demons or is it a real world (OR MAKE THE CLAIM THAT THERE ARE DEMONS IN THE REAL WORLD)... You cant toe the line in every episode...

It’s only 3 or 4 eps in. Give it a chance to ride that line before it tells you.

I suspect there will be some evidence of supernatural, but it will never be flat out answered.

yea, I think that's my problem with the show though... that it will never be answered... you cant do the same thing every episode, can ya???

I'd suspect the bigger arc has to do with Michael Emerson's character

That’s life, though. You rarely if ever get closure/answers.

Does this show have a long life? Probably not. But I can see it lasting 3 seasons-ish

10/25: The CW has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows Batwoman and Nancy Drew. Both will now have full 22-episode seasons.

10/24: Modern Love (Prime Video) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/24: Marvel's Cloak & Dagger (Freeform) canceled after 2 seasons.

10/24: genOCK (Rooster Teeth) renewed for a 2nd season, which will move to the new HBO Max streaming service. (Rooster Teeth First subscribers will get the new episodes after a three-month delay.)

We have a release date! Adult Swim in the US has confirmed that the new series will be launching on November 10 at 11.30pm EST on Adult Swim.

Season 4 is the upcoming fourth season of Rick and Morty. It's scheduled to be released in November 2019[1] and it will have 10 episodes[2]. It will be split into 2 blocks of 5 episodes each.

On July 19, 2019, at San Diego Comic-Con, Roiland revealed that the team had already begun work on season five.

10/29: HBO will not move forward with a planned Game of Thrones prequel series that was to star Naomi Watts. A second GoT prequel series (based on the book Fire & Blood) is still in contention, for now.

10/29: Another Life (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/28: ABC has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows mixed-ish and Stumptown and sophomore drama The Rookie, though exact episode counts haven't been announced. The network's other newcomer, Emergence, was designed to run for just 13 episodes this season so will not get an expansion (but will still be considered for a renewal at a later date).

10/30: Creepshow (Shudder) renewed for a 2nd season.

10/29: Lodge 49 (AMC) canceled after 2 seasons. Producers are attempting to find a new network for the show.

The buried pilot was horrible. I never watched the show on its own. Besides, Suits had burned any good Will I had for the franchise with the last few seasons. I was soooo glad when Suits ended (and was eagerly anticipating it ending leading up to the finale) that there was no chance I was going back to the well with a spin-off.
