[The Q]

The buried pilot was horrible. I never watched the show on its own. Besides, Suits had burned any good Will I had for the franchise with the last few seasons. I was soooo glad when Suits ended (and was eagerly anticipating it ending leading up to the finale) that there was no chance I was going back to the well with a spin-off.

I thought the show was decent, but it definitely was slow played based on where it ended.

11/8: Fresh Off the Boat (ABC) canceled after 6 seasons. The series will end early next year with episodes 14 and 15 of the current season.

11/7: BH90210 (Fox) canceled after 1 season.

11/7: Several upcoming shows previously set for broadcast on FX (Devs, Mrs. America, The Old Man, and A Teacher) will now be exclusive to Hulu (though still branded as FX content) and will not air on cable.

11/7: Cake (FXX) renewed for a 2nd season, to debut in March.

11/7: Adult Swim has renewed 12 Oz. Mouse, Lazor Wulf, and The Shivering Truth. All will air new seasons in 2020.

11/6: The Jim Jefferies Show (Comedy Central) canceled after 3 seasons.

11/13: The Witcher (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season ahead of its series premiere next month.

11/11: Titans (DC Universe) renewed for a 3rd season.

11/14: Goliath (Prime Video) renewed for a 4th and final season.

11/14: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC) renewed for an 8th season well ahead of its S7 premiere in February.

10/18: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Disney+) renewed for a 2nd season ahead if its series premiere next month.

10/18: Bless the Harts (Fox) renewed for a 2nd season. It is the first new fall show to earn a renewal.

10/18: Bluff City Law (NBC) will end its debut season with its 10th episode, despite a previous order of 6 additional scripts. While the show has technically not been canceled, a second season seems extremely unlikely.

10/17: The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (CBS) extended by 3 years, taking the show though August 2023.

All these shows should be canceled.

11/18: Marvel's Runaways (Hulu) canceled; the upcoming 3rd season will be the show's last.

10/28: ABC has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows mixed-ish and Stumptown and sophomore drama The Rookie, though exact episode counts haven't been announced. The network's other newcomer, Emergence, was designed to run for just 13 episodes this season so will not get an expansion (but will still be considered for a renewal at a later date).

I do tend to like “fixer” shows...maybe I’ll try to fit it into my rotation.

11/18: Amazon has renewed its upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel series for a 2nd season well ahead of the start of filming of S1 (which still doesn't have a premiere year or even a firm cast). It is possible that both seasons will film back to back.

I watched episode 2 last night.

The dude under the bridge pulled me in to give it another shot.

But unless the bar tender is a serial killer this is going to be boring and predictable.
