Lol Seattle is the weakest 5-1 team in NFL history ... They’re winning and it’s the NFL, how do you base you opinion on that ? Curious ... Cleary your not being objective, you just don’t like Seattle
Man I thought they graduated from worst 4-1 team to weak 5-1 team this week. Bummer. Guess next weeks preview could be one of the weakest 6-1 teams in history

Power rankings are like assholes. Everyone has them and they all smell like shit. Or something to that effect.

The Patriots look extremely good right now but have also faced arguably the weakest schedule to start a season in NFL history. Their opponents are a combined 10-24 so far this season. Projected over a 16 game season the average win total of their opponents is 4.7 wins. They can't help who they play and they've done what they needed to do. But we probably won't get a great idea about this team until week 11 or so.

The Niners aren't quite as extreme but they also still need a few statement games under their belt to really cement their Super Bowl aspirations. Beating a Rams team without Gurley is a good win but not really a statement win.

Saints are looking really tough. It will be interesting to see how things go when Brees comes back. It wouldn't be the first time that a team regressed when their star comes back.

Mahomes is clearly not 100%. Clearly this Chiefs team needs him at 100% or their defense is going to struggle.

Packers D look dominant but their offense remains lackluster. If Rodgers can get back to 2016 form Rodgers this team is going to be dangerous.

Vikings seems like a Jekyll and Hyde team so far. They need Cousins to elevate his game which he may not be able to do.

Eagles are a head scratcher. Even more Jekyll and Hyde than the Vikings.

Texans a dark horse right now but if they can get consistent line play they could make some noise in the playoffs with the way Watson is playing.

Seattle should rename their team the Seattle Wilsons. He is single handedly carrying this team. If special teams can get its act together and Jarran Reed can provide some pressure up the middle, the Seahawks could be a threat.

Hard to see any other teams with a serious chance at a title. At least at this time.

I’d love to see Dan Quinn lose his job and become the defensive coordinator for someone. Perhaps a team with a defensive coordinator that recently won a super bowl but who is wearing out his welcome by constantly leaving bad cornerbacks on islands.

Hahahaha, oh man...

Seems like a weird season. I wouldn’t be shocked if a team like the Panthers hit the playoffs, play great D, and go far with a young unproven QB.

I thought about putting the Panthers on my list but I just don't see this team doing enough to be able to win 3 playoff games. Allen is doing a great job of managing the offense but I think they will have a really tough time against good teams.

There are plenty of interceptions that bounce off the hands (or face) of bad receivers. It still counts as a takeaway. Maybe the Packers shouldn’t be spending so much money on their QB and should bring in some talent at WR?
You were making the Lions out to have a dominant defense that forced three turnovers last night and clearly outplayed the Packers. That's far from the case - two of the turnovers were self-inflicted blunders.

Both the Packers and Lions defenses played pretty well last night overall but neither was dominant and both the Packers and Lions offenses were a bit underwhelming and each made key self-inflicted blunders that halted drives. The two teams are very evenly matched right now and the 1-point difference through 60 minutes was very appropriate.

The Packers are spending $32M on WRs and TEs. The 6-0 Patriots are spending <$19M. The 0-6 Bengals are spending $40M. The Packers have an appropriate amount of money going to receivers; you're just being a hater.

It’s close. Edge goes to the Saints who will be very tough to beat when Brees comes back.

So when Brees comes back, the only QB on their roster to lose a game this year, they will be tough to beat and so based on that they edge out the unbeaten niners and unbeaten Jimmy G?

good talk.

I have no problem with the 5-1 Packers being the worse 5-1 team. Being ahead on the scoreboard at the end of the game is what counts.

I think the ref that called those two illegal hands to the face should be higher on the power rankings than GB. I mean he was more responsible for their win than they were.

This has been covered. The Packers are listed at 4-2 in my rankings.

Yeah. I’m not quite there. Just seems like something that could happen.

I don’t hate the Packers. I wish the Eagles could play them every week.

They were down 3-0 when he exited the game. They have wins, without their HOF quarterback, against Dallas and Seattle. They’ll probably lose this week against Chicago and then the 49ers can move up.
