You ignoring Samford? I would too if I was an Auburn fan...
We gave a multi year contract to Samford to help out Pat Sullivan who was the coach. It helps them with recruiting and filling the short falls in their budget. I’ve got no issue with it, even if we have to take shit for playing the game.

Imagine if Bama and Auburn had to play a actual somewhat competitive game the week before they play each other instead of a FCS scrub and a free week of practice for each other every year.......
Thank God we didn’t schedule Cincinnati as I don’t know how we would survive.

So your excuse for playing a extremely weak team is somehow valid but the Buckeyes paying, probably more, to help the school is not?
The Buckeyes almost always pay over a million for one of these games. It helps all the small schools and the fans know they are warm up games.

And their airport's in Kentucky. Oh yeah & when Jerry Springer was mayor he lost his job when he bounced a check to a hooker.

He acts like its just Samford.

If its not Samford they are plaing another FCS team.

The last time Auburn actually did not play a FCS team in a season was 2006 (They used Arkansas State instead for their Bama primer)

Our final two weeks next year are LSU at home, and at Bama. Anybody else want any part of that?

LOL...we're not bragging about beating Sanford and counting it as a quality win.

Nasty! Alabama had that in 2005 (LSU and @ Auburn) and lost both. Ruined a perfectly good National Championship Run! Well, they were headed to finish as odd team out to Southern California and Texas in the BCS Era, so they didn't miss much. At least it ended in a Cotton Bowl win over Texas Tech!

Sure you do. That tough Samford win will really drain you.

Just wondering which Ohio State fans have said beating Cincy was a quality win? If you don't answer then you're just full of shit? :noidea:

Sad.

Your conference schedule is pretty much cake and now your trying to make Cincy into world beaters. I didn't know better I would think you were UCF or Boise fans.

I will deep fry your sorry ass and serve you to my friends with mashed potatoes.

Cincy is a very quality win considering how badly we handled them, and it could've been much worse if we wanted. We nearly doubled their yards, had over twice as many first downs, and had backups play. It was a bloodbath against a team that could very well end the year 11-1.

I don't know. I just can't call a win over a G5 team a quailty W at this point in the season. But if Cincy takes care of business & doesn't lose another game my guess is that win will be looked at differently.

GO BUCKEYES!!!

I'd be surprised if they're not ranked this coming week, and if they keep winning - as they should - they'll be a top 20 team by year end. That's a much more impressive win than the majority of the top 10 has.

I'm just glad both teams in Alabama have the bye before they play.

Can you imagine that backlash from Buckeye haters if Ohio State played an FCS cupcake the week before the meeeechegan game?

What I always found funny was 4down20 trying to say Bama NEEDS to play a cupcake before the Auburn game because they beat each other up.

And speaking of 4down20 haven't seen that homer around in a while. Did he get banned?
