And lastly, remember when I said it would be good to have depth so they could stay competitive when Giroux, Couturier, and Voracek didn't have their best games?

See October 4, 2019.

Still undefeated!

This long break seems cruel.

The Koneckny line has been the best 5 on 5 so far.
TK is worth his contract and a lot more because he hits, scores, blocks shots, mixes it up and is an excellent passer. I wish we had more players that brought that much to every game.

I watched some of the replay on Saturday. The whole team seemed to be more active of the forecheck. Also, I never realized how big Hayes is. He is a big dude.

Would rather see the Flyers get him a cup than some graffiti on a wall. THAT would be a fitting tribute
I think everyone on this board would choose the cup over a mural but until that happens we have to settle for the graffiti.

Devils giving up 6 per game .... Suban 10 PIM so far this year. Simmonds returns "home". Devils young stars looking for their first goals....

Could be a wild one on Wednesday

My interpretation..... They're worried about Elliott's health... they want Lyon and/or Berube ready to go at a moment's notice - meaning - have been playing significant minutes. Put Sandstrom down a level so he can get minutes, while not taking away minutes from the other two.
Ill agree with your assessment of that situation. :agree:

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Penguins Head Coach Mike Sullivan told reporters today that centers Evgeni Malkin and Nick Bjugstad will be out “longer-term” with lower-body injuries.

Both players left Saturday’s victory against Columbus with the injuries.
Josh Yohe of The Athletic also reported that Malkin will be out of the lineup longer than Bjugstad.

It would be so cool if the Pens missed the playoffs.
