It turned into a win for him. Also as a result of that game, he was named team captain, set some records, earned offensive player of the week. I'd say that complete destruction of the eagles also helped him earn the probowl selection and Rookie of the year.

You can think what you like, I was ok with McNair and Cunningham even though they were both on the downside of their career...And Jackson had it very easy yesterday with a secondary that was out for pizza all day and an offense that couldn't score any points nor pass rush to put any pressure on them....short fields are gifts against teams like that....You know good teams are gonna be another story in that aspect, pressure on LJ before he can get the ball out, he will run and has trouble holding onto the ball scrambling around....Those windows will be much tighter to get that ball to a receiver and INT's come into play, etc....
Smart fans know you can't judge a season by the first game at all....It's never who starts best but the one who finishes best....Ask Eli, he took Brady's lunch 2 times the same way....

A QB who “Can’t throw” and who is “inaccurate” doesn’t finish a game with a perfect QB rating against an NFL defense.

Maybe he will be terrible the rest of the season. But statistically, he has been incredible. It's too bad you don't like his race. I'd be excited about his potential if I still lived in Baltimore.

I'm glad for the win but as you well know you can't make any realistic conclusions on the first game and especially against a really bad team....Heck any backup could've done the same thing against them....

I don't know who's ready to crown him the new Tom Brady, but anyone who doesn't acknowledge his potential is simply just choosing to be a hater (which is fine btw). Personally, I've found him to be an extremely exciting player to watch and the results with him at QB have been great thus far (7-1). Hopefully he continues to improve as he gains experience.

Moved out to the burbs last year. Miss some aspects of Hampden, but definitely not others. We still do dinner there every once in a while.
