The PAC12 and Big12 seem to be in a race to see who can destroy their conference first.

I think the PAC is fine. Needs a little adjusting for sure. It'll never happen, but I'd like to add Boise and maybe even Hawaii. Wouldn't add a ton of $$ value, but it'd be fun.

It's not impossible, but it's hard. Here are some things UCF can do going forward if they want a chance.

1.) Don't play any team in FL that you don't have to, unless it's one of the 'Big 3'.

2.) Don't play home and home with big teams, offer to go to THEIR place and play or meet them in a neutral location. Notre Dame would be a great team to play.

3.) Schdule a Tier 1 or Tier 2 SEC team as an opponent. This could be anyone outside of Ole Miss, Arky, Vandy, and Kentucky. You do what GA State just did, and it's look a LOT better than what you did to FAMU.

4.) Slaughter your conference. You can't afford to have close games.

5.) Work to get your games on Thursday or Friday night. Become the prime time game and use that as your way to get nationall recognized.

6.) Then, you have to fight like hell to join a P-5 conference and show that you are trying, and being denied, chances to play a home/home with Clemson, Alabama, Georiga, Washington, Oklahoma, OSU, Michigan, MSU, Texas A&M, Auburn, Texas...The more you try and schedule one of the leaders from the other conferences, and get denied, the more sympathy you'll likely have.

7.) Don't put up fake banners and signs saying you are the National Champions when you didn't play anybody until you were invited for the Chick-fil-a Bowl and beat a deflated Auburn team. You like small time.

You are making the mistake of replying as if he was genuinely interested in having an honest discussion. Don’t waste your time unless it’s to post the centipede thing.

Not ignoring what Oky bring to the table on the fields and hardwood with being one of the top sports schools in the country, but more the power Texas has on what happens with conference alignment.

It sounds like you suffer from Stockholm's Syndrome or Slave Mentality or both.

UCF meanwhile is UCFighting for a UCFair system and a legit playoff. We are being the Champions of Change. We want all FBS teams to have the same path to a National Championship just like in all other NCAA sports. We want teams to be judged on the conduct of their character and current year record, not on the color of their skin.

Dude, CFB is not just for entertainment....it is also a business. A very big and lucrative business. The ONLY way that you can create a better path for G5 schools is to expand the number of teams that qualify for the playoffs, and most fans are all for that. There is literally no way with only 4 teams to justify a team out of the MWC, MAC or AAC getting in unless you have at least two P5 teams in the top 4 with 3 losses or more. Not all P5 Conferences are created equally but still, there is a fairly big gap in competition between even the Pac 12 and the Sun Belt. No one outside of the SEC wants to see two SEC schools in the playoffs. However, do you really see a justification for an undefeated UCF being more worthy with their schedule than a LSU or Bama that goes undefeated and loses to Georgia or Florida in the SEC CCG? When you consider the path both took to get to that point how do you justify UCF or BSU getting the nod over that 1 loss Bama team without some type redistribution of results? Focusing your cause toward expansion and not claiming you won a title you didn't even play for will garner a lot more respect and results.
