I like this...home and home>neutral.
Notre Dame is a better opponent than Penn State, so if Notre Dame is just “okay” penn State is at best just “okay”.Penn State in 2010 @ BDS and @ Penn State in 2011.
Lord have mercy! They are both GREAT teams to schedule a home and home with. Me thinks some people are way too picky.Notre Dame is a better opponent than Penn State, so if Notre Dame is just “okay” penn State is at best just “okay”.
Don’t blame Saban and Kirby. They vote for 9 games. Blame Derek Mason and all of the other SEC coaches who vote against it because they want to guarantee that 6th win.How many times has Bama and Georgia had a regular season game scheduled in the past decade?
Are they really in the same conference?
2019 Duke
2020 USC
2021 Miami
2022 @ Texas
2023 Texas
2024 @ Wisconsin
2025 Wisconsin
2026 @ W Virginia
2027 W Virginia
2028 @ ND
2029 ND
2032 @ Oklahoma
2033 Oklahoma
Looks great to me.
Not sure where all this come from. UGA is finishing up a home and home versus Notre Dame this year, and split a home and home with Clemson in 2013-2014. Upcoming are two different home and homes with Clemson plus one neutral site game (five games total). In addition, there's an upcoming home and home with Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida State. But yes, Alabama is the only team with testicular fortitude because they're going to play West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Typical. No explanation how Bamas played Citadel and Towsend and Chatannoga 10x more than they have played Georgia. Thanks. LolPipe down there 52-6, the adults are talking.
Since Saban has been at Alabama (2007-Present), they have met 6 times: 3 Regular Season Games, 2 SEC Championship Games and 1 CFB National Championship Game. The last 5 games have been played in the State of Georgia (3 in Atlanta and 2 in Athens). The Tide is on a 5 game winning streak. Wrong. They have had TWO regular season scheduled games since 2007. Both probably scheduled before Saban got there. Alabama beat Georgia in Athens in 2015 in a Regular Season Game.Wrong. They have had TWO regular season scheduled games since 2007. Both probably scheduled before Saban got there. Lol.
Last regular season matchup was 2008 just the year after Saban gets to Bama.
The amount of years ahead of time most of these games are scheduled, it can be a crapshoot.I will never blast a team for scheduling an OOC of a Blue Blood:
Alabama
Michigan
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Ohio St
Oklahoma
Texas
USC
or some non-Blue Bloods:
Auburn
Clemson
Florida
Florida St
Georgia
LSU
Miami (FL)
Michigan St
Oklahoma St
Oregon
Penn St
Stanford
TCU
Tennessee
Texas A&M
UCLA
VA Tech
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin
That is true. However, I will always respect a program who doesn't deliberately schedule Creampuff St every season. That list of Blue Bloods and others are filled with traditionally good programs. They do have lulls, but that's to be expected and that's okay. If somebody schedules Miami (FL) 10 years from now and they go 0-12 I will not criticize that opponent. The amount of years ahead of time most of these games are scheduled, it can be a crapshoot.
Hell. Some of these games are being scheduled 9+ years out.
9 years ago, Clemson would have been a good (potentially) ooc, but not great. Now, they're back and forth with Bama as the best in the country.
