7th L in a row.

The whole offense with the exception of a couple are having a rough time. Gallo is hitting like .110 since the break, Maz is slumping and you name it including all the above mentioned. Santana is one of the exceptions. To many struggling.
Fun is over. Horse trading soon to begin
Prince?Would not be surprised if only Minor, Prince and maybe Willie is traded
Prince?
Wonder how much interest
Fine by me.Everybody wants good players. I have no problem moving expiring contracts. Santana is exact type of hitter we need. Let's keep him

This year may have been the turning point for him. Keep him.I’m in total agreement here. If Santana was an expiring contract, I’d be all for it, but the guy will be making hardly any money the next 2 years with team control. Im skeptical that JD can get enough value from another GM to offset that loss.
The other thing is we don’t know how good he can be yet. He’s playing like a totally different player this year.
There are probably 6 other guys we can move. Maybe 5 now because of the Kelly injury.

I agree that some day he will be a very good hitter. Who would you have sent down? I think I would have sent DDJLong term I see Calhoun more of a DH part time OF. The rub is the hit tool and where it matches with other players. I think he will be a very good hitter better than most we have on the field presently
I wouldn't be surprised if Calhoun is traded as well. Why move an aging veteran when you can hold onto them and trade younger, better talent? Kind of like they did when they decided to keep Odor and sent Profar away, not younger, but better.Prince?
