We had our chance and we blew it. If minor was decent tonight, we probably win. He picked a bad time and a bad opponent to have a crappy game.

The lineup was awful. They looked over anxious to get the big hit. Seemed to swing at way too many pitches out of the strike zone.

It’s very likely to be 2-2 now based on the pitching matchup tomorrow. I would consider that to be a very crappy result since we started off 2-0. Reminds me of the disappointing series up in Boston.

When you have a good team on the ropes, you gotta take advantage. We just can’t seem to win a 4 game series, maybe we don’t have the depth for it.

Forsythe did not have a good game defensively at 3B.
Did not like the defense against Altuve in extras. Too much gap between Gallo and DDJ. Should have had no doubles defense

Minor has been off in his last 2 starts. Our offense was rather pathetic even though we scored 5 runs. Too many guys who did nothing at the plate but we are overachieving based on what was predicted from us.

I love the trade actually.

1) we lose Fairbanks, but we get a top 100 rated prospect for him? Hell yes.

2) he's a righty and our major league roster is way too slanted toward lefties.

3) we have several very good relief prospects in the minors

4) he provides a much needed shot in the arm to our upper level position player talent down on the farm. It needs to be upgraded.

5) it could be seen as a sign that the rangers aren't totally 100% "all in" invested in odor anymore. After he was pretty much a no show for the first half of the last 2 seasons, they shouldn't be.

You forgot to mention opens a slot on the 40 eliminating any future drama of "who is gonna be sent down this time". Also you have to wonder if they have their eyes on a body they are going to trade for that will require a 40 spot??

Yes. Good thought. Or... we will need a roster spot for another RHP like Classe. And this guy is rule 5 eligible and will need to be added this winter. Maybe he is a reinvention of Forsythe
