Hey now. Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf can still ball lol.

He's older than me, lol. He's only 5 years younger than Del Curry. Gotta love the medicinal marijuana ad patch...

I wouldnt give up young guys for a guy who makes 171 million over the next 4 years

That move doesnt put the Heat over the top
Stay the course.

Its also not a bidding war.
OKC wants/needs to move him as much or more then the Heat want to acquire him ( my guess).

7 years younger, there isn't a question I would rather have Kawhi.

But it's crazy, Lebron's per 36 numbers have actually gone up the last two seasons compared to the the last 5-6 years. Now, he did played in only 55 last season and it's not like his efficiency is taking a hit. His 17-18 season was probably one of the best of his career at 33-34 years old.

While this is all true,

His defensive effort has fallen off the cliff.

Maybe he can still bring back playoff LeBron, maybe he can’t.

If the Lakers are going to beat the other elite teams, LeBron has to be a defensive asset.

Gm's shouldn't have to worry about star players demanding trades 1 year after committing to that team.
Its getting to be too much. How can you plan and then have shit like that happen.

When is next CBA?
Owners need to address this.

I tried to explain that.

But, DJ is perpetually stuck in the Land of " Everyone wants to be a Laker".

Yeah, the timing is more coincidental than anything.

The Lakers should have a ton of money coming off the books to chase FA's to put around AD right at that time.

So yeah, if things don't go well with the Clips and the Lakers have shown that they have their shit straight...then maybe the Lakers can get one or both to "walk across the hall". Crazier things have happened.

But, I expect that things will go just fine with the Clips, both will sign ginormous contracts to stay and the Lakers will be looking at other FA's.

They don’t?
Paul George, Kawhi Leanord, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving....

Ffs Trevor Ariza, Marcus Morris

That's just the last 2 Offseasons.

Ps. I know your question was in jest...lol

Yeah, anything can happen

Kawhi is doing the Smart thing.

Get as much as you can and keep the front office honest.

Yep, that's why they needed the depth to give him more rest and I think they did a pretty good job for what they had. Still need to pickup a wing at the deadline imo
