Why didn't Kwahi sign yesterday?

He will either play in Toronto or LA next year.

Kawhi walks to the beat of his own drummer so I have no clue where he's going, but if he indeed request to speak with Magic...maybe the Lakers are really in the mix.

Will the Lakers be able to field a complete team? Right now it looks like LJ, AD, Kuzma, another FA, and 9 league minimum players.

Toronto's total tax rate is 53ish percent for all games played in Toronto. And if Kahwi is still listed as a resident of California he will get taxed by them as well.

Overall he got taxed about 2 million more due to the trade to Toronto. Got more than that in the trade kicker though.
