Does anyone really think the tax rate figures in where he's gonna sign?
If he has decided on a team (as many suggest) why didn't he sign?
His contract will be the same wherever he signs, his income will be higher in Toronto (because of less taxation) but this doesn't seem to matter much to him, so... why didn't he sign?
Is it possible that he is expecting more teams to seek for him?
What explanations you think make sense?
Ice dancing with the stars? He realizes the NBA is boring and unwatchable so he is off taking skating lessons so he can try and play a real sport?!?!
Taxes are definitely higher in Canada. Financially it makes the most sense to stay in Toronto. MLSE is an absolute juggernaut and can and will give him whatever he wants. He's also playing in the largest market in the NBA. Yes I know NY, LA and maybe Chicago is bigger but Kawhi's market is now an entire country. Also Cali is split between what? Four teams? NY is also fractured. King of the North. Now why do I feel like I will wake up tomorrow and read he signed with the Lakers?
Because that's what's probably happening?

He wants his moment in the spotlight and wants the entire world looking at him.
Oh I know that, but you got to admit it does look that way and for the record Kobe Bryant did it the same way 20 years ago after his rookie contract was up - so it's not like we've never seen this before.Again, as I said above to the other moron, that's the literal opposite of what Kawhi is about.
I think he will listen to all three teams before making a decision. He meets with the Clippers tomorrow according to one source. Has any one heard if he met with Jeanie Buss yet?Because that's what's probably happening?
