AD traded to Lakers

That would be the most talented group for sure. The thing is Irving and AD, i am not sure if they ever made it through an entire season without getting hurt. I will look up later if they ever played all 82 games

The most each have played is 75.

AD played in 75 the past 2 seasons before this one. Played in 56 this past season, but a lot of those missed games came after all of the crap at the trade deadline when the Pels were trying to not play him. So hopefully, his injury issues are behind him.

Kawhi - he wants to play in LA, there’s is that. All we havd heard is Clips or Raptors but the Lakwea are in LA, he has to consider that an option.

I really doubt that he comes to the Lakers. I'd say 10% chance and that's probably being generous.

He doesn't like the spotlight, which is hard to avoid on the Lakers.

But, having said that, with Lebron and AD on the team, it would be a lot easier for him to avoid the spotlight or at least limit how much he gets.

I'd hope that the Lakers will practice due diligence and at least contact him and Klay through back channels to see if there is any shot before they settle on their FA strategy.

This would be bringing back Rondo, and KCP if nothing better, but Rondo is a talented point guard - You could much worse -

Bullock isn't a PF and he's getting paid this summer, we can't afford him. McGee is also gone.

Depends on what else they put around them. If they get a 3rd top tier guy or go for really solid depth, they should be able to withstand an injury to one of them. But if they lose both for an extended period of time, they will be in trouble.

Just like every other team in the league.

It could be argued James got hurt because he was trying to do too much.....with AD and possibly another star and better support players, that shouldn't be the case next season.

McGee definitely earned himself a raise. What will be interesting is if he might want to take a few dollars less to possibly go after a ring.
