LeBron is a freak, but he does have the most miles for anyone in the history of the game for his age. No college, tons of long playoff series, and more international games than they used to play. I still think his skills are just about as good as they have ever been- but injury and rest are the prime concerns at this point. Also conserving energy more than he has before on the defnsive side- and ill tell ya- even a few years ago he was heavily conserving energy on the defensive side. Then he went and put a few more 100 game seasons on his odometer.

Well you're already assuming the Lakers are going to sign a Top 15 player. Given that there are only about 4 of them in FA and that the Lakers will only have about 32 million in cap space, that is going to be impressive.

Why doesn't every FA superstar sign with the Lakers. God has blessed the Lakers to be the chosen team in the NBA. He just put them in purgatory for a few years to pay for Kobe's carnal sins. Obviously, in a dream scenario, Kawhi or Klay. But I don't see either of them coming, even with AD.

I wouldn't mind Kemba or Butler. Of the 2, I'd prefer Kemba because I think his personality will fit better.

If they can get one of those 2, I suppose they have to.

But I'm not sure they wouldn't be just as well off and maybe ultimately better off, if they split their cap space up and went after 2 or 3 next tier guys like Vucevic, Beverley, a Morris twin, Reddick, etc.

Kemba - not sure if he is the type of guy to be in a big market. He would turn down a lot of money and that just doesnt fit his personality.

Kawhi - he wants to play in LA, there’s is that. All we havd heard is Clips or Raptors but the Lakwea are in LA, he has to consider that an option.

Lonzo Ball is CAA now as is Zion... This deal isn't finished yet... until July the 6th it may turn to a 3 (or 4) team deal...

The only safe conclusion up to now, is that Klutch has bought the Lakers and has thrown CAA out... It doesn't mean that the Pelicans have been sold to CAA in return...
