I'm kind of glad the Twins went right out of the gate and went after their offseason arm pickups. I would hate to see them playing the waiting game over Burrnet, Ubaldo and Ervin Santana right now. It would be driving me nuts.

Geez, Loueeze, there PC..you really are fired up for 2014! What do they call that up there? Cabin fever, or something? Get yourself down here March 1st & watch the boys workout and play pre-season games. That's all you really need to do to be cured. I'll pick you up at the airport!

Looks like Albers is going bye-bye.

Probably wasn't room for him in the rotation anyway with the couple coming back, the new coming off-season signings and the guys trying to break down the door from the minors. He did give us some fun games to watch last summer though and will always remember. Good luck to Albers in Korea!

So, it sounds like Kurt Suzuki is being given the starting catchers job. This has got to be a goddamn joke.

I swear it's like losing is enjoyable to this organization.

yet, somehow Curly Ryan has come to the conclusion

Don't fret, fellas. It won't matter that much during Spring Training. That stadium remodeling project is really coming along. It's going be so much fun running around the place that no one will pay much attention to the players. This joint is going to be cooooool! Once the regular season starts it may be a whole different story, however. Cross that bridge when we get to it.

Very bad news, indeed. TR is a very fair-skinned guy and has spent so much of his life out in the summer sun that I suppose this was almost a guarantee. Most people recover so let's hope TR will as well. I went to white long-sleeve cotton-t's for any and all outdoor activity down here years ago. It's the only sensible option if you like to be outdoors in sunshine states.

I would think even if Suzuki is the starter at the beginning of the season it really doesn't mean anything, he's not the future and when Pinto keeps hitting like he has been even a manager as clueless as Gardy knows you gotta play the kid.

I wish Josmil would change his last name it's too close to Punto.

Sano to undergo Tommy John surgery, miss 2014. That blows.

Yes it does, but he's not even 21 yet so hopefully this doesn't slow down the train, the kid has a great future...

What sucks is knowing our stupid organization. Now next year will be what this year was supposed to be for him.

Most of the year in minors, late season call up. When in reality he should be with the big club right away next year.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Twins land Ervin Santana. It seems like a possibility considering the offer they extended to Garza earlier this winter. But they may not want to go as high as he wants or he may just not want to pitch for MN.
