Nope, but I lived in Denver during his playing days. Elway is Matt Stafford. He started winning once he had 3 Hall of Famers in their prime to give the ball to and the Broncos circumvented the cap in ways that would make the Patriots blush.
There are definitely some 'what if' scenarios where the Chiefs could've limited Elway's legacy so I do enjoy the argument that Elway is overrated.

Matt Stafford beats up on losers. If Elway was Matt Stafford then the AFC had a lot of losers.

Outside of Calvin Johnson can you point to one player Stafford has played with that would have been good enough to play on Elways teams? Stafford beats up on weak teams because he has never played on a good team.

Elway kinda made his WRs. Most wouldnt be top players on other teams.

Elway to me did for his offense what Wilson does for his now.

Number of SB wins is more indicative of great team play. If Rodgers played on those Patriots teams they would have won even more Super Bowls.

No, Rodgers is an unapproachable drama queen and a coach killer, Bill would have traded him Cleveland or Oakland.

Actually Belichick would have loved to have Rodgers at QB. Great minds think alike.

I agree, but the more rings Brady decorates his hand with it's hard to simply ignore.

I was a long time Brady isn't the GOAT person but now I have no argument against him.

Actually Belichick would be out of a job and we wouldn't be spoiled with all the SB runs. I rather have Wilson here when TB retires

No disrespect to Aaron Donald, who may end up being an all-time great, but the Rams have actual all-time greats like Deacon Jones, Orlando Pace, Marshall Faulk, Crazy Legs Hirsch, Merlin Olsen and Jackie Slater who are actually all-time greats to choose from.

Yeah, I was mostly looking defense. I was tempted by Deacon

Not necessarily.

Brady has won 6 SBs. Each of those teams are very different. Sure some had the same players but the cores were different often times. Also, he won even though he was missing key pieces. Plus the length of time over which he has won is a big indicator he is better than Rodgers who is (and has been) on a decline. Brady is still playing at an insane level.

We could probably break this up into defense and offense and in some cases ST.
For Seattle offense, Jones was mentioned but def HM to Largent.
On D, Cortez Kennedy for sure. And no on anybody on the recent LOB.
Not sure yet about the rest of the div.
Probably Montana on O for 49ers. Lott on D but not sure.
Rams. Donald is a beast but a few of the old guard were spectacular back in the day. Offense, maybe Dickerson.
Cards Fitz on O. Have to ask @Scooby-Doo for help maybe.
Fitz is the only choice for the cards on O. Aneas Williams on D

AFC South:

Peyton Manning is the most obvious.

JJ Watt for Houston.

I dunno who for the Titans or Jaguars.

Do we count old Oilers players for the Titans? If so, Earl Campbell. If not then Steve McNair? But we can't use quarterback with Manning already chosen? Makes it double tough.

I can't think of anyone for Jacksonville.

Elway to me did for his offense what Wilson does for his now.

Elway had one of the best OL's in the NFL, one of the best defenses in the NFL and TD carried them to wins in the playoffs and mainly those SB's. It's why Elway's SB numbers are so bad. No doubt he had his clutch moments, but there was a reason he was in some of those close games, bc he made mistakes and his stout defense bailed him out.

Super Bowls: five games, 152 attempts, 76 completions, 50% completion, 1,128 yards, three touchdowns, eight interceptions, a 59.3 quarterback rating and two Super Bowl victories.

He was a a pretty good regular season QB, a below average playoff QB and a terrible SB QB.
