Also I generally don't like to complain about the Refs because the team shouldn't have been in a close position in the first place, however yesterday I felt they were dog shit down the stretch. Marc Davis made numerous terrible calls, all which benefited the Clippers. He gave them a time out when the Clippers didn't even have possession. He called the charge call, when it was a clear block on Beverly. Those were just off the top of my head. I don't know the figures, but it certainly felt like he made the majority of the calls, all against the Warriors especially in the 4th quarters.

The point is being a hypocrite and you missed it.

Um, you guys are going to be in the running this summer to land somebody? Is that what you are implying?

This should be good.

We are building through the draft, you know the thing the Lakers TRIED to do and couldn't succeed LOL
Good luck to you as well in FA. You offer your entire team for AD and get declined hard. Looks like as of right now nobody wants to go to the Lakers, kinda sad considering where they are located and it's supposed to be a FA destination. Very sad.

Are you talking about when Beverly was complaining and the officials stopped play? That was strange.

Nothing wrong with scoring 121 points. There's everything wrong with giving up 129 points at home.

Every Warriors Championship has come with them not only being one of the greatest offensive teams ever, but they were defending at extremely high levels. This has not been the case at all this year. They have gone through big lulls during the year where they just coasted it's definitely starting to catch up to them.

But more importantly, Kerr needs to make some adjustments schematically to what the Warriors are doing on defense. He needs Ron Adams to figure that shit out and get on it. The Warriors can immediately fix at least 2 things that stood out: Transition defense and Hustle plays. Those are just more effort than anything else. However they need to work on their half court defense. The Clippers are carving them up in the pick and roll and the Warriors rotations seem all out of wack. I'm not concerned about Lou getting buckets because that's what he does, I'm concerned about the other guys getting clean looks that should not be happening. That's unacceptable.

The Warriors need to get this straightened out because if they can't guard a pick and roll properly, the Rockets are going to do the same thing the Clippers are doing them, but at a higher level.

Everyone keeps talking about the offense...it's the defense. A ton of open shots, no hustle, lots of things, etc.

100% agree. Offense is never a problem for the Warriors, but it's the low hanging fruit when the Warriors lose and Durant has more turnovers than shot attempts in that game. But in the past the Warriors were always able to win even if they had shitty offensive games because their defense was amazing. That's not the case this year. The Warriors overall had a really good night on offense yesterday but lost because their defense was so terrible.

It's something that people were blaming on Boogie when he was in there, but now we're starting to see that there are additional holes in the defense. I think what was most shocking to me yesterday was that Draymond wasn't able to hang in front of some of the perimeter players on plays. That's one of his biggest strengths as a defender and it wasn't present yesterday at all. Just felt like he was a half step slow on everything.

Draymond and KD were getting blown by quite a bit. Didn't follow everyone but probably Klay was playing the best defense. Curry was Curry, sometimes it looked like he played great defense and others times not. KD and especially Draymond stood out. Harrell had his way.

Chris Webber made a good point last night that backcourt play is the biggest key to beating the Warriors. Harrell is doing well, but Lou Williams has gone off in the two Clipper wins. The only time that the Warriors lost a series during this run was against Cleveland, and it wasn't because guys like Love, Tristan Thompson, and Mozgov were going off. It was because of Kyrie and LeBron, who were both scorching hot from the perimeter.

Curry almost won the game with his defense last night. Good thing for the Clippers that they gave up on the Gallinarin v. Steph iso play.

Chris Webber is an idiot. You know who's been the key to this series? Danilo Gallinari.

In the three wins the Warriors had, he posted ppg of 15, 9 and 16. In the two wins the Clippers had, he scored 24 and 26.

Lou Williams and Harrell are going to get their buckets. It's the third player who's able to produce for the team that has generally gotten teams the wins over the Warriors. Two players can keep teams in it with the Warriors. A third player can put the opponent over the top.

You can't keep your story straight.

You said this earlier:

"I just don't think Butler would be a good fit or leader for this young team. I would much rather have other FA's than paying him max."

Chris Webber is so bad that yesterday during the 3rd quarter there was 35 seconds left and Draymond Green walks the ball down and takes an open 3 pointer right away, but misses.

Webber: "That's a terrible shot. What is he doing there".

10 seconds later

Webber: "That was a great strategic play by Draymond getting the 2 for 1 opportunity, but...."

I honestly can't stand listening to him. It was so bad that I opted for Bob Fitzgerald. If Bob is the lesser of two evils, then you're really bad at your job.

Gallinari arguably plays like a guard. About 60% of his shots come from 16 feet and out and he averages about as many rebounds as Steph.

Probably still win it. But like every other champ, except themselves in 2017, not every series is a cakewalk. As I already said, even the sainted Bulls lost 1-3 games almost every series
Agree, but thought I heard MJ never played a 7 game series.

So then we gonna consider KD a guard too? Playing semantics with positional value. It's about production and not what position you're playing. Gallo goes into the post just as many times as he takes 3 pointers during a game.

Can you spot the diffrence Sesame Street style from the press conference answers about overlooking the Clippers:

KD - Standard angry bitter guy cliche response, 100% they were not thinking ahead

CURRY - Standard nice guy humble cliche response, 100% they were not thinking ahead

KLAY - Yeah fuck it, I was thinking about how much rest Houston was getting, and hoping the one extra day was not too unfair after we easily beat the Clippers in game 5. I was definitely overlooking the Clippers.

That was actually an awesome honest response from Klay. Good for him.
Cannot really disagree.....and I loved his "awesome, honest response" about Lebron after Game 4 in 2016. That worked well for him.

No, for his career and in this series, he is not in the post as much. In his career, 44% of his attempts are from three. In this series, it's 42%. Regardless of position, I think the point was that it's not the guys playing in the post who do the most damage to the Warriors.
