$11 million per year with incentives, no word on guaranteed money. They always leave out that part to try to make it sound better.

Edit: not per year, $11 million total for two years it sounds like.

Patriots fans trying to sell their division isnt the weakest, while the rest of the NFL watches the other AFC East teams recycle each other players and coaches

Think this is the Yahoo link your referring to.

Report: Teddy Bridgewater turns down bigger offer, chooses to stay in New Orleans

Take note of the word reportedly, and no details of a offer.

Also this was in that link:

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported the Dolphins “were not big players” for Bridgewater)

You said he knew his stuff and got things right most of the time.

Also you'll never be able to show anyone a fair offer from the Dolphins and by show I mean the breakdown of $ amount and guarantees. I don't expect a apology from a over the top homer like yourself. You will just repeat some said it was reportedly bigger and by god they have it right, Never mind they don't seem to know actual figures the Dolphins front office assures them it was a lot...for backup like Bridgewater.
You have to put two and two together. They said that the Fins offer was better than NO where it's a max of 12 M I believe. If so that's fair because the guy hasn't started in years. He felt 16 M was better so they let him go. You make it sound like they offered him 5 M which obviously isn't the case. Both side's moved on and the Fins decided to go with a true vet I'm fine with this as as Fitz is entertaining cheap and should be a good mentor for a young QB...

back up and successor for the saints? or possible starter for the phins..........easy choice
Do you want to bet that he doesn't become the saints starter after brees retires? I didn't see any other team make a play at him this offseason he's such a hot starting prospect haha!

Bridgewater is an NFL QB. You could probably teach him to do what you do. No one can teach you to do what he does.

But you are pure comedy.
It's all relative but obviously over your head...

Correct. Hometown boy who obviously would love to be a starter especially for his hometown went back to the Saints. Why? You come up with some ridiculous theory that he's scared. :pound: It's the money, Dolphins low balled him so bad that he passed. Armando agrees with that.

But you know for sure he could succeed on a terrible team where really no QB has had much success in years?
Learn to read I said he had an opportunity nothing in life is a guarantee but I'd rather try than give up like he's doing.

You are the typical poster who cannot even see the other side even when it can refute your thoughts with logic, facts and reason.
Because it's illogical to be a QB and not want to be a starter especially for more money. Let's be a bench warmer with a handshake guarantee to start after a hall of famer decides to retire. Smart...

Did you earn $7 mil guaranteed if you passed up this opportunity?

asking for a friend.
No it's all relative but this is obviously over your head.... You either decide to work for someone or take over the business I already know your answer...

He's cheap and entertaining should be a good mentor I can live with it. Sounds like one of Kraft's ladies of the night...

Exactly! So obviously the money wasn't really there. Guaranteed money. It's really the only logical reason.
