Because he said the team has contract rights for 5 years. Isn't that what most of us have been saying?

Interesting thing quick count shows over 2/3 of the options are picked up, out of those not picked up most of those players were released before year 3.

I’ve been saying they have rights for 5 years too. I don’t get your point. Couldn’t answer my question?

Pouncey>Kelce

* either Pouncey Mike or Maurkise

Possibly. They are both studs. But Kelce has been first team all pro the last two years.
When healthy Fredricks is the best IMO

Again 5 years before FA all on the teams choice = 5 years. If the the player had to option to say no to the option then your 4 year argument would be right and at least I for one wouldn't be here against you.

Against me and a top agent in the NFL who told you an option isn’t a 5 year contract. Don’t forget every single sports writer is wrong too. Thanks for ignoring my question. If I did that to you...

I have the CBA it says they are mandated in signing a 4 year deal with a team option for a 5th. The agent said the option doesn’t make it a 5 year contract.
What more do you need? End of story. You just sunk your own boat.

But Drew Rosenhaus could come to your house and explain the fact to you and you still wouldn’t say you’re wrong.

What does the CBA say about the option?

What does the CBA say about the option?

That it’s part of the 4 year contract but as the agent said, “That doesn’t make it a 5 year contract”.
You understand that, right?

But but but, Mama said.

Read Moron. The option MUST BE INCLUDED. That means the option counts in the contract.
4+1=5.

Again... what you refuse to acknowledge is an agent with much more knowledge said that option doesn’t make it a 5 year contract. But keep ignoring it even though it has been explained to you.
