Tells me Dallas isn't happy with our TEs and the Frederick injury bothered them.

I know its early but I'd expect a couple of safeties to be interviewed.

OL is always welcome in my book.

We have never prioritized it so I'm not holding my breath but would love a monster DT. The Rams had their way with us. I also think of the residual impact it would have on Lawrence, LVE, Jaylon etc if we had someone that demanded blockers.

If you click the link now it says they added more names to the list.

Don't get too hung up on the guys they meet with at the combine. The guys they bring to Dallas to meet with are IMO much more meaningful and indicative of what they may be looking at. For example, "Florida safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson told Machota he has met with every team, including the Cowboys."

For the most part, I agree that it would be great to have big run stuffing DT to gum up the middle for opposing RBs.

What I'm not sure on is whether or not it would have helped against the Rams. To me it was more a matter of scheme than personnel. Where the Rams were successful is in the single cut back run. The D-line had what appeared to be the point of attack mostly clogged; we just were out of position as soon as the RB made his cut in the opposite direction. I think it was a brilliant scheme. The one thing, above all others, that Dallas' D is noted for is speed to the point of attack. They used that against us and with one or two blockers maneuvering themselves to block for the cut, half of our defense was on the wrong end of the LOS to be able to make a play and had to fight through a blocker or two to get there. By the time the could, the RB was into the secondary.

Pursuit is good, but it can be used against you, as the Rams most certainly demonstrated. Not sure a big DT would have made the difference in that game. In fact, it may have made it worse.

The d-line shifted each time the wideout went in motion. They fell for it every time, and the rams gashed them straight up the middle. No adjustments at all. Romo showed this during the Superbowl. The Patriot d-line stayed in their gaps. That concerns me with our defensive staff not making any adjustments. I don't know why they did nothing.

Cowboys 7-round Mock Draft: February 27, 2019

While I dont know the players. I do like the positions in this 7 round mock.

#48 DE - Jaylon Ferguson
#90 3T - Khalen Saunders
#128 RB - Darwin Thompson
#136 WR - Greg Dortch (lil' Chain movers replacement)
#151 CB - Derrick Baity Jr.
#165 S - Saquan Hampton
#241 P - Mitch Wishnowsky

Now drafting a punter could be a stretch, but says he is dynamic at pinning kicks inside the 10 yd line & rarely kicks TBs.
As such a late draft pick I would have no prob drafting a punter if he is as good as explained. Most picks that late dont make the team anyways.

At #128 and 136 I'd like to see a couple of OL, but otherwise, that's all needs

Jordy Nelson was released by the Raiders. We should sign him.

I think the Jordy you knew on your Packers is long gone at this point. He was horrible last year.
