As long as there are sports. There will always be bad officiating and bad calls. It does generally have a way of evening out in the end. What really matters is that a team plays through the bad calls. And doesn't allow them to effect the game.If you're a fan log enough bad officiating will find you. As well, a call or two will go your way. You just can't be naïve enough to see it. In the end it all evens out.
I'm sure we have all complained about officiating at some point. But in the end it is what it is. The issues go beyond just one play its consistency which can lack. The biggest issue would be rule changes and cleaning up the things that actually effect the game. Ie pick plays , the new QB rules. Things that actually effect the game by not allowing players to do their jobs. Which waters down the game and actually does impact it. The Pats could have folded but they played past the penalties and non calls. The saints could have played past the penalties and made a stop the. The Rams and Pats earned their spot in the SB imo. As far as officiating and rules thats on the NFL to clean up imo
