Remember when everyone was questioning the Lakers off-season signings, wondering why they didn't get guys that could shoot.

Kind of funny that the only 3 Lakers shooting above 35% from 3 are all free agents. LeBron, Rondo, and Lance.

The bigger issue is the hold-over players. Hart, Kuzma, and Ingram have all regressed from near-40% 3-pt shooters to more like 30%. Yikes.
i dunno if you can really count rondo

dude has made 10 3's all year...not exactly statistically significant

I'm putting Dame over Westbrook and Jokic over AD.

Westbrook's shooting has been ass.

Davis is a monster.

But, I'm giving Jokic some love for his team's record.

I regard Carlisle as a top-3 coach in this league... but between this and the Rondo situation, there are signs that the guy is very stubborn and might have trouble letting go of the old-school coaching attitudes.
Yeah, he seems pretty old school.

But, Dennis can't be all in his feelings about Luka mania.

He's not talking about Waiters, right?

He's talking about his own struggles?

“It’s tough when you’re not playing because the coach believes that somebody else is flat-out better than you,” Winslow said. “It sucks, but it’s also motivating. It inspires you to get in the gym a lot more. The emotional aspect of it is the hardest part. It’s easy to continue to work. The hardest part is the mental part, just believing in yourself and knowing that you belong in the league even when you’re not playing.

Well that will never happen again.

I think Lebron still has a shot but it isn't very likely at all considering the way Giannis, Harden, Steph, etc. are playing. I just don't see it if he misses 15 games. But if he did something amazing and the Lakers got on fire, got a top 4 seed with Lebron balling out...it is possible. Not very likely though.

The bold is the difference. If Lebron were clearly playing better than everyone else, then I think he wins it despite missed games.

But, that's not the case this year. This year there are several players right there with him. So, unless those players fall apart after the all star game...Lebron shouldn't win it.

Damn the Lakers last 6 games is brutal. That's gonna be a stressful time in the media spotlight for them trying to clinch a playoff spot.

Not sure they get 45 wins. If i had to guess, they sneak in as a 7 or 8 seed with 43 or 44 wins

Even if Lebron comes back they might only win 2. Depends what the chemistry looks like when he comes back. Looks like he is missing the 1st 2. They need to get a win in NO.

They were 18th-20th in 3 shooting when he got hurt.....been 2nd worst in 3 shooting since his injury. James being there results in better open looks at the basket.

No way Russ is 2nd team All-NBA this year.

I get it, I'm one of the biggest Russ bashers here. But dude is still averaging over 20 ppg, a triple double, on a team 3rd in the WC standings. That's gotta count for something.
