of course that was the reason he signed there. How could anyone say any different?

LeBron wanted to be in the sunshine and make movies. No one can possibly say that LeBron thought it would be his best chance to win games to go to the Lakers.

But all that young talent...

Hate the Lakers or not, It is pretty damn obvious that they would have been right in the thick of things for a top 3 seed had Lebron not gotten hurt. Saying anything else is insane.
at the beginning of the season i would have vehemntly disagreed---- put considering the early struggles of the Rockets and the Jazz, in my mind, hugely underacheiving, maybe that would have been possible on LeBron alone--- but honestly i still wouldnt have really bought it.

I mean- I think all of us overestimated how tough the West would be at the top- and even at the bottom of the playoff picture

what did we say preseason? that it would take 47-48 games to make the playoffs?

That number seems at least 2-3 games lower at this point.

But all that young talent...
Kuzma has been really good-and he has a lot of value, but all he does is score- he is a mediocre-to-poor rebounder, and a bad defender.

Ingram and Ball have performed way under expectations.

Hart looks like he will be a solid 3 and D role player- and is just what wildturkey said- a poor man's trevor ariza at this point.

The Lakers fucked up- they were bad for what? 5-6 years--- and all they got out of it was Kuzma, Hart, Ingram and Ball. If anything sinks this team- that will be it--- that they never got the high end talent out of a total long, protracted rebuild that you really have to get out of it.

To come out of 5-6 years of being shitty with only young guys Kuzma, Hart, Ingram and Ball and no extra draft picks is a massive failure.

The reason that playoff win number is going to be significantly lower is because the bottom of the West is MUCH tougher than anticipated. You aren't going to have your 8 seed at 47 or even 45 wins when the 14th place team is in the low to mid 30s. There just aren't many scheduling wins available in the West this year. You have to show up to play every night.

I thought scoring was all that matters in the NBA?

Yeah, it looks like they whiffed on Ingram and Ball.

You.

Over and over again whenever you try to rake me over the coals for ranking Kyrie slightly lower than you do on the NBA best player list.
lol cmon slugger.......have a little integrity.....if you are going to just try and make up some babbling bullshit at least make the effort to bring some evidence to support it.

Yeah, it looks like they whiffed on Ingram and Ball.
whiff might be a harsh word- a "whiff" is Anthony Bennett.

Ball and Ingram will probably be solid players with long careers---- but it does not look like either has the ability to be a #1, #2, #3,---maybe not even #4 guy on a team that has a chance to make serious noise.....

when you choose #2 overall 3 times -- you gotta get AT LEAST one guy that can be a big time center piece for your franchise- and the early returns certainly seem to show that the Lakers have not gotten that an all star level player.

It is a joke dude.

Unlike you, I am not going to start a war over semantics.

But, any of the 2 dozen posts you have made gushing over Kyrie's scoring ability could be interpreted as such. Scoring is the most valuable skill in the NBA, hands down, but it all matters. And you know that. Even when it doesn't fit your daily narrative.

Cleveland Cavs would have won 5 straight Championships if they drafted Klay Thompson over Tristan Thompson.

Discuss...

LOL.

Maybe I should go on for 20 more posts calling you names and telling you what you really mean.

And I am glad you agree that all of your semantical garbage is babbling bullshit.

if the front office listened to Gilbert and drafted fellow MSU alum Draymond- that wouldve helped as well.

Also, if the front office would have listened to Gilbert and drafted Oladipo instead of Bennet- that wouldve helped as well.

Speaking of tough 2nd half schedules, add Miami to that list.

This is what we get for not doing a better job with the kinda soft 1st half schedule we had

Counting this year too. No way Lebron is leaving with a chance for 5 in a row. Solidifies his legacy, IMO. Next year could be dicey because the Warriors would have Steph, Embiid and Luka.
