I loved the Fangio Presser. He is going to be a hoot.

"Death by Inches" certainly applies to the Broncos this year.

My new favorite thing on Twitter are the Fangio-Godfather parodies.

As expected, the defensive vets are stoked. Many attended the intro presser. Vic goes completely against the grain of virtually every other NFL HC hire right now, but he's the complete opposite of VJ, and that's what I wanted. I want a hard-nosed team that has a plan and doesn't lack direction.

Kubiak still hasn't been made official as OC. My understanding is Jim Bob Cooter will be interviewed.

Fangio says Keenum is the QB, "for now".

Fangio does come off as one tough-nosed, SOB with a completely honest communication style. I too was impressed with him today and feel infinitely better about the hire already.

In Bronco history - Red Miller - was the long time Coordinator - who the Broncos finally gave a HC job to - and he led the Broncos in the magical 1977 Super Bowl season. I also hear - History repeats itself.

"Von Miller can play better". No he doesn't. Miller had better stats than Mack this year.
What we need is our offense to compete and provide leads so our pass rush can go after the QB. Without leads the other team can dictate and slow down and boatrace Denver.

The expectations are Von Miller's impact on the game are unrealistic with the crap offenses Elway has put together the last 2+ season.

It will be interesting how the staff shakes out. Fangio has his view of how the staff should be and he seems to be getting his way. I saw a headline that Kubiak and Fangio have a difference in staffing and philosophies. I have not read the article yet.

This news makes my day. I really didn’t want Kubes, that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate his past contributions. Makes me feel better about signing Fangio.

DENVER -- The Broncos are in the market for an offensive coordinator. After several discussions over the past few days, Gary Kubiak will not join Vic Fangio’s coaching staff.

The team had discussed Kubiak returning as the offensive boss but his desire to bring previous staffers with him and philosophical differences led the parties to decide it was not a good fit at this time, according to sources.

However, they are still looking to bulk up their offensive coaching staff with experience. The Broncos are seeking permission from the Pittsburgh Steelers to speak with Mike Munchak about coaching their offensive line. Munchak finished as the runner-up to Fangio for the head-coaching job.

After talking with Munchak , the Broncos thought there could be a fit because of his coaching style and his desire to live in Denver, where he has immediate family.

On Thursday, Fangio expressed interest in talking to Kubiak, who won Super Bowl 50 for the Broncos as a head coach. It is unclear whether Kubiak will remain in the organization in a front-office role, where he has spent the previous two seasons after stepping down as coach due to health reasons.

One thing is clear: if Kubiak wants to return to coaching, it will not be in Denver.

Is this a situation where the Broncos wanted Kubiak, but Kubiak wanted to bring in his usual suspects as assistants, and Elway balked? (Simular to how he refused to fire Dennison et al. previously when Elway asked)

I hope we can keep Kubes in Denver in the scouting role then. This last draft looks really good and it's hard to believe that he didn't have a lot to do with that.

Kubiak wanted to stay with his old ways and not evolve
Good for Elway and Fangio for moving forward

I doubt the Steelers give us permission to interview Munchak for O-Line, but I could see him being our OC.

I hope all works out best for our team. Looks like our OL is going to get way better or wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Worse!

I will say this, This guy is no yes man so I hope this work out because this team now sounds like a Rebuild might be on its way. on the O side of the ball. My guess Power football. This guy seems to like of power football . I am not a fan of power Ol ...................

We will not be signing much other than OL this offseason from other teams my guess. That shit is pricey as hell.
