it was a joke!
it was a joke!
No.
I know...lolit was a joke!
it is a series by Matt Weiner- the guy that did Mad Men- on Amazon Prime.No.
What's it about?
Is it associated with the Russian Royal Family?
Oh, Lord....it is a series by Matt Weiner- the guy that did Mad Men- on Amazon Prime.
Its just 8 episodes and none of them are with the same actors.....in each of the episodes it focuses on people who claim they are descendants of the Romanoffs that were of course slaughtered by the Bolsheviks.
The Romanoffs - Wikipedia
I watched most of them and they were okay.......kind of reminded me of Mad Men how they were shot etc.....just was wondering if you had seen them...obviously not.
Id give ita B-/C+.....def. not required watching.
the Romanoff issue was kind of a minor one in most of the episodes..Oh, Lord....
How many of them claimed to be Anastasia?
Prince Philips DNA has debunked a ton of pretenders.
Locally they are speculating that his oft injured shoulder may never be 100% right and that's affecting his shotDRaymond really has played like shit.
His shooting has not been good for a while now
Forget the Wall, I'm declaring a national emergency because we are now getting TV criticism from WiggyRussthe Romanoff issue was kind of a minor one in most of the episodes..
like one lady owned a huge big apartment in Paris and said she was descended......a couple from the US go to Russia to adopt a kid and the woman wants to get a russian baby because she claims she was descended from the Romanoffs (this is an interesting episode--- they go to russia to adopt the baby- after trying really hard to have one, IVF, etc. etc. etc...draem to have a baby- and they get to Russia and the baby is like non responsive- and they think it has fetal alcohol syndmore- the father still wantedto adopt it but the mother didnt), one episode a couple is supposed to go on a cruise where its like a romonaoff history but the husband doesnt go etc.....
its a pretty thin string between episodes- the romanoff connection....
some of the episodes were kinda shitty, a couple were really good.
I have never understood why people think they get to decide somebody else's fandom.
Doesn't matter if you root for them because the first , great piece of ass you experienced was in the parking structure at the Original Boston Garden.
Your reasons are your own.
Having Draymond and Boogie in the top 10 for frontcourt players would be another one of those pieces. So Dwayne Wade is still one of the top 2 guards in All-Star voting in the East so far. Which is just another piece of evidence that the average fan is a basketball idiot.
I will give you more:Forget the Wall, I'm declaring a national emergency because we are now getting TV criticism from WiggyRuss
Buddy, you need to stop wasting all your time on sports and TV and go meet some girls. Sheesh.I will give you more:
My top 10 list of TV Dramas (not stuff like The Office, Southpark, Curb etc..) (off the top of my head)
1. Game of Thrones (the story, the spectacle, unmatched- its like a giant movie)
2. The Wire (just unreal- so good)
3. Mad Men- no overt violence, murder, craziness, zombies- just amazing story telling. The early seasons you just cannot take your eyes off Don Draper.
4. Breaking Bad - one of the few shows that really stays great and maybe even gets better towards the end...biiiiiiiitch.
5. True Detective Season One- just 8 episodes but Mathew McConaughy's character is just unreal. I really really enjoyed this shows first season so much. 2nd season kinda sucked. Lili Simmons and Andrea Daddario naked does not hurt either.
6. The Americans- awesome show. A lot of action but some really good thoughtful moments as well. Keri Russell is a bad ass i nit
7. Deadwood- another HBO show- only 3 seasons but a lot of fun. Great western
8. Justified- did not take itself too seriously, but great characters and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it.
9. Westworld- very complicated but also very interesting. A puzzle at times. I am eagerly awaiting season 3 and Dolores getting out of the Park.
10. Lost- when it first came out there was nothing like it.
Honorable Mentions:
The Sopranos- a great show- and i know i have it undrated- but it is a little dated. Like Sgt. Peppers- a seminal TV show that ushered in the Golden AGe of TV. Really should be NO lower than #5 AT THE LOWEST- just not always my cup of tea.
Weeds- went downhill quick but was really good in its prime
Dexter- the last 2 seasons are abominations, but the first 4 were great.
The Leftovers- quite the mind fuck.
Billions- still going on- and only 3 seasons, but a ton of fun...I really like this show a lot- it has only gotten better as well. I am anxiously awaiting season 4 in March.
Ray Donovan- so funny at times. Jon Voight as Mickey is just amazing.
Walking Dead--- it has turned into an absolute slog but it was a lot of fun at times.
True Blood- absolutely ridiculous- truly absolutely ridiculous and it goes off the rails all the time but it was a fun watch.
Man in the High Castle and Succession are 2 newer shows that have had promising early seasons.
