@Bolts

I like the Kanter trade rumor.

He and Trill would be a good ying and yang.

Dude can score.

Looks like he might end up on one of our rosters.
I think this would make more sense if Trill was gonna be part of a trade to get a starting SF. I don't want Bagley and Giles to lose more PT by adding another big to the rotation. Put Bagley into the starting lineup next to Bjelica with Giles/Kanter being the backup bigs. Kanter can't be that much worse on defense than WCS and rebounds at a much higher rate, the best things Trill has over him is rim running and dunking which obviously fits the Kings' style of play. Playoffs are a VERY longshot whether they make a trade or not and Kanter is an expiring contract so they won't need to keep him past this season, it would be a "whatever" kind of move.

reminds me of an all time great movie scene:

Response:--"Nah- no- Hell no- I believe you'd get your ass kicked for sayin something like that"

Patrick McCaw refused to play for the Warriors because he wanted a bigger role.

-Declines 5.2M contract with the Warriors and an actual role.
-Signs veteran minimum deal with the team that has arguably the deepest bench.

I'm literally face palming for him. LOOOOL.

Who on the Warriors was he playing over? Livingston or Cook?

He would have been their backup 2. They only signed McKinney after the whole McCaw fiasco. On top of that with the frequency that Andre and Shaun get DNP's he'd be inline for their minutes too.

PG: Curry, Livingston, Cook
SG: Klay, McCaw, Evans
SF: KD, Iguodala
PF: Draymond, Jerebko, Bell
C: Cousins, Looney, Jones

He's shown flashes the last two years to think that he'd be given every opportunity to lock down a primary backup role. IMO, he's good enough to play in the league as a role player, given some development.

6'7" wing capable of playing really good defense and being a PG type player. Needs to work on his shooting though and making sure his handle is A+ instead of a solid B.

Edit: He was also good enough to get important minutes in the finals as a Rookie.

*addendum

"important minutes" apparently is encompassed by 6.8 minutes a game.

Raptors joining the lightyears ahead movement by signing McCaw. Future All-star replacement for Kawhi if he leaves this off-season. Genius move.

Weird move IMO. He's not currently better than any of your primary backups. I don't see him getting much, if any time really. There's plenty of other teams he could have joined to showcase he belongs in the league with a role. Raptors are, IMO, one of his worst fits.
