Dome Patrol:

The Dome Patrol was the linebacker corps of the National Football League's New Orleans Saints during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Under head coach Jim Mora, it formed the second level of defensive coordinator Steve Sidwell's 3–4 defense, considered to be among the most formidable 3–4 defenses in NFL history.

As a unit, all four players were on the Saints roster for seven seasons, from 1986 to 1992, and the players combined for 18 Pro Bowls and ten first-team All-Pro selections while with the team. All four linebackers were invited to the Pro Bowl for 1992, the only time four players at the same position from one team have made a Pro Bowl together.

Fangio was the linebackers coach with the Saints from 1986-1994

Just hire the guy

Fangio checks all the boxes for me, no nonsense, excels at his job, and demands excellence from his players. Exactly what this team needs, a swift kick in the nuts to get them to focus up

When was the last great Defensive coach that really excelled as a head coach?

I’m drawing a blank on the great ones, the main names that come to mind are people like Wade Phillips, Rex Ryan, etc. They Coached some pretty good defenses but I don’t think anyone would consider them a really good head coach.

I hope it's Fangio. Munchak is so uninspiring.

After Joseph, I really don't want to see us hire a coach with a sub .500 record

I don't like being called a liar . I told them I seen what I seen if I could not prove it I was gone .

There was an article I have yet to look for that said Kudiak was friends with the new head coach and the OC from the Steelers

But kills above did what I was stating as proof.

If the others want more proof google is your friend.

Crash, just shut up. You didn't prove anything.

You stated that coaches were told to pack their bags - they weren't.

You stated a high ankle sprain is a bone break - it isn't.

You stated that Kubiak knew all the coaches - he didn't. In fact, your link is one that Klis said "I wouldn't be surprised if Kubiak had a lot to do with the finalists that Elway has chosen." So wrong, again.

Quit being so overly dramatic, and for chrissakes quit claiming you've said things or proven things you didn't.

I might be the only one saying it, but I damn sure know I'm not the only one thinking it.

They aren't use to hearing that... Usually they are losing. ;)

.. except, of course, when the Jets run for 323 yards, have 520+ yards of offense and you toss things in like a 51 yard punt return

Seriously though, is Adam Gase worth getting excited over ??

ehhhh
