Correct. Elway never empowered VJ so yes he was set up to fail. Cannot have the respect of players who know you don't have final say.

Little harsh I would say. But then again I’ve heard of college coaches getting drunk at team meals during their bowl game trips so I guess maybe I’m use to worse.
I didn’t think the video was that bad. These guys are in the NFL now.

I don’t think VJ was a great leader but I do know he was set up to fail given his situation.

I stopped watching last week vance is a turd! I stopped watching at half time said fire him I have not wasted my time since he killed our season unless he gets fired now . I stick with that ...70 points with a D like we had last year is Fireable .last week at the half what he did as well . he would have been gone .

How? This same roster last year produced a top 5 defense that kept us in almost every game, despite the offense and special teams.

Point your fingers, but make sure its in the right direction. Surtain, Jewel, Singleton, Cooper, Bonito, Javonte, McMillan, Mims, and a ton of others are from this front office.

Agree. I don't believe this is an "awful" roster. I do believe we have a lot of players who are "ok" with losing right now and need to learn how to win. I think Payton can change some of those guys but a few bad eggs are going to have to move on soon. The talent is there. The roster isn't awful. We have the talent to win. Now we have to get the coaching and turn minsets into a winning culture.

i said i thought they would beat the cards in preseason an i was wrong.thought the broncos may be good but payton is doing an awful job in denver.never said denver was good,that,s bullshit.seen and played enough football to pick good and bad teams.try to give all teams some credit.
