I would have preferred he go to Edmonton, but Pittsburgh is a good second choice.

Me personally I will root for Edmonton when they play Calgary, because of my hatred of the Flames teams from the 80s. Beyond that I could care less about the Oilers. I understand your reasons for not liking Edmonton, I am just surprised by fans of other teams dislike of them.

I think most fans of other teams dislike Edmonton for their hoarding of first overall picks and essentially wasting all that talent. I mean Bettman would never admit it, but the last place he wanted McDavid to end up is Edmonton. Imagine McDavid with the Rangers, that would be a marketing bonanza for the league.

/Toronto would also have been fantastic.
